Q: What is the process and eligibility criteria for admissions at Jain University?

A: The first step to apply for admission at Jain University is to fill up the application form. This can be filled online or obtained from the admission office at University campus. The application fee is Rs 600. The admission process includes three stages, Jain Entrance Test (JET), Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) round.

To be eligible for admission in BTech programme at Jain University, the applicant must have:

  • A minimum aggregate of 45 per cent (40 per cent for SC/ST) in Class 12 exams with Physics and Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects with Chemistry/Electronics/Computer Science /Biology as additional subject
  • Candidates applying for University through JET should have a minimum aggregate of 60 per cent

Q: What are the various programmes offered under BTech?

A: Our industry embedded curriculum ensures a wide variety of specialisations for students to choose from. These specialisation are bundled in five programmes:

  • Electrical Engineering

Q: What is the cost of four-year BTech programme? Does University offers any scholarship?

A: The fee for BTech programme is Rs 2.25 lakh per annum. The University also offers scholarships to meritorious students. The scholarships are categorised in six categories,  academics, sports, literary, music and dance, specially challenged and community service.

Q: Do you also offer accommodation facility on campus?

A: We do offer accommodation facilities to students on campus. We have well-ventilated and spacious residential suites for students with healthy and hygienic food facilities. The healthy food and hygienic stay are the only matter of concern for parents of outstation students. We ensure them home, away from home.

Q: Can you share some recent placement trends?

A: Placements is the final step in the evaluation of ROI of any degree programme for students and their parents. We have a track record of 100 per cent quality placements for eligible students.

For Academic year 2019-20, the University witnessed the highest package of Rs 30 lakh per annum whereas the average package offered to students of Computer Science & Engineering graduate was Rs 6.5 lakh per annum.

The first batch of BTech in Computer Science and Engineering with specialisation in Artificial Intelligence is yet to pass out.
