JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) Inks MoU With Indian Army

September 23, 2021: JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University), India's premier NAAC ‘A+’ rated university (as per the updated structure), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ASC Center and College in Bengaluru. The agreement allows army troops and their families to enrol in JAIN's on-campus and online programmes (Deemed-to-be-University).

JAIN offers programmes in a variety of fields, including Management, Commerce, Science, and Technology (Deemed-to-be-University). At the University Campus in Bengaluru, they can enrol in on-campus learning programmes such as MBA, MCA, MSc, PG Diploma, PhD, and Certification Programmes. Army personnel and their family can also enrol in UGC (University Grants Commission) accredited online degree programmes like as MBA, MCA, MA, BCom, and BBA. Candidates can choose from a varied range of over 70 electives to find programmes that interest them. Candidates who enrol in online degree programmes have more flexibility in pursuing their degrees because they can learn at any time and from any location, as well as take tests online. They can also download learning materials on their devices and access them from locations with limited internet access. As a result, their aim of earning a degree is jeopardised by transfers and Internet access.

“We are glad to join together with JAIN,” said Lt. Gen. B.K. Repswal, VSM, the Commandant of the ASC Centre and College in Bengaluru, about the partnership (Deemed-to-be University). “It's a step toward taking our relationship with one of the country's most prestigious institutions to a new level. There is a lot of potential for developing knowledge bridges, and we can benefit from the relationship by properly accrediting our men and improving their skill sets. Army personnel will benefit from online degree programs since they allow them to continue their education while serving because they allow them to study from anywhere.”, Gen. continued

“It is a great honour for us to join hands with the Indian Army,” stated Dr Chenraj Roychand, Chancellor of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). “This is a watershed moment in the JAIN Group's history. We will be honoured to play a part in empowering army men and their families through this cooperation by providing them with high-quality education and courses based on our 30 years of experience and knowledge. Education, we believe, provides new possibilities for everybody who wishes to grow and learn. We shall have the honor of further empowering the dreams of our Army's soldiers and women who commit their life to the nation's protection.”, Chancellor continued
