Credit for well-informed lectures and a progressive environment in class to learn goes to the faculty, says Darshana

Science has always been my favourite subject since childhood and I always had more interest in Biology that's why I chose Science stream in Class 11. Just after I completed my Class 12 exams, I was in search of different courses and just like any other student I was also confused, which one to prefer and what to do next. Then I found few interesting courses & among them, was the Bioscience or Life science. Now another challenging task was to decide the college that offers these courses. In the search for the college, I got to know about Indrashil University. I planned a visit to the University. The infrastructure, the labs and the system at Indrashil University really amused me I was impressed after visiting the Research and Development (R&D) lab in the university campus. The course curriculum that Indrashil provides is also one the reason why I really found it an interesting place to pursue my BSc.That's how I chose Bioscience at Indrashil University.

The requirements for admission at Indrashil University were quite simple. The minimum eligibility for BSc (Hons) program was that a student must have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45 per cent. In my case, I was eligible for it & I also had my GUJCET score which boosted up my overall score in the end. I didn't appear for any entrance exam neither did I took any coaching classes for my admission. The overall admission procedure was very smooth. The Admission Department was very helpful. Before applying for Indrashil University, I was also interested in AAU Anand Agricultural University & wanted to join it. I almost completed my verification procedure but at the end due to few document issues I wasn't able to enrol there & then I got to know about Indrashil University and to be very honest Indrashil Universityactually drew my attention & convinced me that it is actually one of those very good places for any student to carry on their further studies after Clas  12. During my entire admission procedure, I didn't face any issues and thus it was easy going. And that's how I took admission in Indrashil University.

Each and every day at Indrashil University is new and compelling. Every morning as I reach college even after travelling for 1.5 hours, the vibes at the university boost me up for the entire day. It encourages me to learn and to acknowledge. The atmosphere at Indrashil University campus and its surroundings is enlightening. All the lectures that are held are all very interesting and engaging. Probably the credit for amazing lectures and a better environment in class to learn goes to the faculty that Indrashil University has.

All the faculties that we have are interactive, helpful and very supportive. All of them are eminent in their field & have great knowledge of science. The daily practical sessions that we have are also very beneficial. And even though we have lectures and practical sessions there is some time for every student where they can have some quality time with their classmates and friends in the canteen or any place which again creates a nice and healthy environment at Indrashil University campus. Other than this, we also get inspired by the R&D labs & all the research work that takes place in the labs. Indrashil University has many extracurricular activities such as sports, quiz competitions, Eco club activities, cooking competition and many more. All the events at Indrashil University are very exciting whether it's the sports event (Muqabala2020), Rangostav, Navaratri celebration (Khelaya) or different days that we celebrate such as Ethnic day, Group day and Bollywood day. And when it comes to me I almost participate in all the activities that are organised as it helps me to keep myself active. There are also many educational seminars conducted for all the branches (Bioscience, Chemistry and Engineering). All the faculties, students and management actively participate in any of the event that is held at IU. As a person Indrashil University helps me to develop and learn new things every day. Back then I was a very less interactive and very shy person but Indrashil University has helped me in being a more interactive and open person. The environment at my college Indrashil University motivates me and also helps me to improve myself as a better person.
