Students hone their skills under the proper guidance of coaches and teachers at KNIT.
Technical cell
KNIT has a technical cell for engineering students. Under this cell, experts from KNIT as well as from industry develop essential technical skills amongst students. This helps the students to understand the basic insights of their core area and the tactics required to carry out various technical and industrial practices. Students, under the guidance of mentors, start various industrial projects inside as well as outside the KNIT campus. Most of the projects are usually related to skills development. Apart from this, students are trained for various behavioural aspects.
Cultural club
The cultural club helps the students prepare for various cultural events. It has designated faculty members of the institute who prepare the team of students based on interviews and skills. They call for volunteers so that students can perform without any pressure. It includes dancing, singing, celebrating festivals at the institute, and various other occasions. This club also provides the opportunity to hone the skills through daily practice. The club motivates introverted students to participate so that they can improve their level of confidence. They keep the motivation of achieving professional excellence not only in academics but also in other extracurricular activities. Preparations usually go on throughout the session for one or the other event. Through these events, students try to represent various cultures, food habits, and lifestyles. Holi and Diwali celebrations are done under these events. The beauty of these types of events here is that it takes students and faculty members closer together, where they enjoy themselves as well.
