ABES Engineering College focuses on the holistic development of the students and it is not possible without the integration of extracurricular activities and studies.

ABES Engineering College conducts a three-day annual fest named “Genero” every year in the month of September or October.

ABES Engineering College in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, is one of the premier institutes of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. ABES Engineering College is accredited by NAAC, NBA, NIRF and ISO. The college has also been awarded 4.5 stars by Innovation Cell, the Ministry of Education, Government of India for promoting innovation in the college. The college has a good reputation for providing numerous opportunities to students to get placed in reputed companies. More than 2,200 jobs have been offered to the students of class 2021-22.

ABES EC offers four-degree programs in various disciplines, which are taken by 5,000 students across the college. The college has a history of more than 20 years and has a strong alumni base. ABES EC has a state-of-the-art infrastructure along with a rejuvenating environment.

Extracurricular Activities 

The college encourages extracurricular activities. It has super-advanced sports complexes, well-integrated indoor activities, various clubs and much more. The college conducts a number of fests, sports competitions, arts and craft competitions, dance competitions and coding challenges. These activities are organised at inter-branch, inter-college and university levels. The college focuses on the holistic development of the students and it is not possible without the integration of extracurricular activities and studies.

A: 

ABES Engineering is UGC approved and accredited by NAAC a "B" grade but its overall a really good college in terms of placement and internships . As the NCR location increases its charm .

Placements: The college is very good in terms of placement. The college do provide us with stipend internship to some students. The highest package offered was of 61 LPA. Three average package offered was of 4.2 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very great and have well furnished classrooms and th  e walls are painted. The classrooms are very big and do have Wi-Fi everywhere. The sports facilities are also great and do have all the types of facilities available.

Faculty: The teachers are very well educated from the top universities and are very helpful in nature. The teachers are very friendly and teach us in a very disciplined manner.

Importance of Extracurricular Activities 

A wise man once said that “a healthy mind only resides in the healthy body”. Extracurricular activities not only help students to be physically fit but also help to strengthen their minds. It helps to cultivate the skills like team management, time management, team leadership, and organising ability in the students. The activities are also helpful in lowering the stress that piles up on them due to career pressure and studies.

Extracurricular Activities in Sports

Sports are a good way to strengthen the bond among students. The college organises several sports competitions annually. The college has an appropriate infrastructure to organize and manage any sports competition on the campus. ABES has a badminton court, swimming pool, lawn tennis court, gymnasium, volleyball court, cricket ground and basketball court. The college also has a setup for indoor activities like chess, table tennis court, carom etc.
