IGNOU launches Mobile Application Development Programme in ODL mode

Aspirants interested in taking admission to the course must have passed 10+2 or 10th standard with 2 or 3 years diploma (or its equivalent).

IGNOU Admissions 2020: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) launched a new Certificate Programme in Mobile Application Development (CMAD). According to the information provided by the IGNOU officials, the Open University plans to offer the programme in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode. Students interested in taking up the course must know that this programme is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge about developing mobile applications.

IGNOU CMAD 2020 Eligibility

Aspirants interested in taking admission to the course must have passed 10+2 or 10th standard with 2 or 3 years diploma (or its equivalent). The medium of instruction for the course is English.

IGNOU CMAD 2020 Course Duration and Fee

Certificate Programme in Mobile Application Development (CMAD) launched by IGNOU will be a 6 months duration course. The course fee for 6 months is Rs. 5000. However, in order to take admission to the course, the candidates will have to pay Rs. 5200 (Rs. 5000 annual fee+Rs. 200 as programme fee).

The official notice released by the Open University reads, “Each course will have two components Assignment and Term End Examination respectively. If the course is having only Theory Counseling Sessions, then there will be two components, namely, Assignment and Term End Examination (Theory). If the Course is having only Practical Counseling Sessions, then there will be two components, namely, Assignment, Term End Examination (Practical)".

Meanwhile, IGNOU extended the last date for the online submission of admission and re-registration forms until September 30. Interested students who have not applied yet must note that they have another fortnight to register online for the admission to different postgraduate and undergraduate degree programmes, postgraduate certificate (PG certificate), postgraduate diploma (PGD), certificate and diploma programmes.
