IIHMR University to spread awareness on Diabetes on its 35th Foundation Day

IIHMR University on October 5 will start the celebration of its 35th Foundation Day. The alumni of the university have been invited to be a part of this occasion. The event, along with a mix of social and cultural events, will also be aimed at educating young minds about the dangers of Diabetes. India is in an uncertain circumstance as the ascent of such non-communicable diseases, for instance, diabetes are driving the country's wellbeing objectives a long way behind.

The event, along with a mix of social and cultural events, will also be aimed at educating young minds about the dangers of Diabetes. Eminent personalities such as Senior Professor - Medicine, Principal & Controller of Jaipur’s SMS Medical College & Hospital Dr Sudhir Bhandari; Senior Consultant and In-charge, Department of Diabetes and Endocrine Sciences, Eternal Hospital Dr Sailesh Lodha; Co-Founder at TrueCover Peeyush Jain; and Director National Institute of Ayurveda Jaipur Professor Sanjeev Sharma will be a part of panel group, talking about Demystifying Diabetes- From Debility to Cure. The aim is to educate youth on the pitfalls that diabetes is creating in Indian healthcare.

IIHMR University has organised similar events in the past.

A rousing address by IIHMR-U President Dr Pankaj Gupta will pep up the audience while Aegis School of Data Science CEO Bhupesh Daheria, chief guest of the event, will share his valuable and thoughtful ideas on data science and how it is transforming healthcare.

Students from all three schools, across streams will come together to perform in this annual cultural event. The event will later culminate into an annual grand party.
