Internship at Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology

The Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology was originally established as the Faculty of Technology in 1976 by the Kamla Memorial Trust. The institute was registered as a separate society as the Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology in 1983 with affiliation to Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. The institute is located in the Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh and is counted among the leading technical education institutes in the area. KNIT, Sultanpur has some amazing facilities on campus for its students and has a record of placing the candidates in their dream companies. But before being a part of the rat race, the students need to undergo rigorous training and experience life-like situations to carve out a space for themselves. Vocational Training

Vocational training is a part of the B.Tech curriculum. It is organised by the institute during the summer vacation. However, the students are responsible for paying for the travel and other expenses associated with the training. Marks are assigned for every training session and are awarded on the basis of training and viva voce examination.

Internship records:  

Internship participation rate: 60–70%. The highest annual salary package is INR 10 LPA, while the average annual salary package is INR 4 LPA.

KNIT, Sultanpur has a full-fledged Training and Placement Cell under the Training and

Placement Officer who takes care of the students' internships as per their skills and choices. The cell also offers tonnes of training and workshop opportunities to make them confident and industry-ready. The placement cell is responsible for the industry-institute relationship and makes sure that the requirements of both students and the recruiter are met.
