Kumaun University result 2019-20 for all its UG and PG courses is now available on its official website. The University follows a semester examination scheme for all its courses and its academic session is divided into two semesters, (odd & even). The University conducts the semester-end examination in December-January for odd semester and in May-June for even semester. Students must note that semester results announced by the University are provisional and the final results are mentioned in detailed hard copy mark sheet provided individually.

How to check Kumaun University semester result?
The University declares the semester results of all its courses offered at UG, PG and doctoral level on its official website (www.kunainital.ac.in). The evaluation scheme of the University is based on constant performance assessment of registered students through internal and external examinations which are given weightage in the ratio of 30:70, respectively. A student is declared as pass in a subject, if he scores 36 per cent or above individually in both internal and external exams. The steps to check Kumaun University semester result is given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of Kumaun University. On its homepage, navigate to the ‘Result Announcement’ section

Step 2: Click on ‘Download Online Results Link’. Further, click on the course link for which you wish to view/ download/ print the semester result. You will be redirected to Kumaun University’s one-page result view webpage
Step 3: Select the exam type and course for which you wish to check the semester result. Also, fill your roll number, name and date of birth. Once done, hit ‘View Result’
Step 4: The semester score along with the result status will get displayed on the screen. You can download the result or take a printout of the same for future references
Kumaun University Reappear Exam 2020
Students, who fail to achieve, a minimum of 36 per cent aggregate separately in theory, practical, and internal assessment examinations, have to give a reappear exam. The reappear exam is held in the next consecutive years. Such students need to fill the application form in online mode and pay Rs 500 as an exam fee within stipulated time from the date of release of reappear exam form. The steps to fill the reappear exam form is tabulated below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of Kumaun University. On its homepage, navigate to the ‘Important Links’ section
Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Online for Examination Link’. Read the examination guidelines and tick the declaration box. Click on ‘Apply Online’
Step 3: Choose the course for which you are required to give your back examination. Click on ‘Apply’ link corresponding to the course
Step 4: Register yourself by filling the details, including your registration number, course specifications, etc. Hit ‘Proceed’ once done
Step 5: Pay the exam fee in online mode using debit card/ credit card/ net banking. Students can also pay the exam fee using challan or NEFT/ RTGS
Step 6: Complete rest of the application form by addressing details, including your personal information, course specification, etc.
Step 7: Download the filled application form and print the same along with payment confirmation receipt to conclude the application process

The University releases its proposed and final timetable for corresponding semester examinations on its official website usually two months prior to the commencement of exam. Students can follow below-mentioned steps to check the exam time table for various courses offered at Kumaun University:
