Why MBA?

Being a commerce student, I built up a keen interest to have a career in the corporate sphere, fuelled by my passion for the industry. So, after completing my undergraduate degree in management, I pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA). My goals while going ahead with MBA were to have a deeper and better understanding of the fundamentals of business management, to acquire team building and leadership qualities, and to expand my professional network.

Doing MBA from the Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida offered me everything that I expected from my master’s degree. It helped me achieve my professional objective by giving me a solid grounding in business principles, leadership abilities, and exposure to the industry. The curriculum covers a range of management-related topics, and the institute offers numerous chances for networking and interaction with business leaders. The institute's placement cell also works directly with students to help them find jobs and get ready for interviews. Personal Story
During my college days, I participated in a national-level case study competition with a group of friends. Our team was performing well and clearing all the rounds until one of our members had to drop off due to unavoidable circumstances. The sudden turn of events caused panic among us. However, I took the initiative to handle the situation and led the team to think of a solution rather than wasting time in panic.

This experience taught me the importance of teamwork, being prepared with backup plans, and keeping calm in difficult situations. It was a valuable lesson that we learned together as a team. As we worked through the situation, we realised that staying focused and working together was the key to our success. It was a defining moment that showed us the power of unity and the importance of staying calm and level-headed in the face of challenges. Overall, this experience was a reminder of the importance of resilience and the value of teamwork in achieving our goals. Our winning the competition was the cherry on the cake.

Conclusion

I would like to conclude my story by saying that it’s not just about the place but more about the people. I was fortunate enough to make some amazing folks who stood by me through thick and thin. I learned from their life experiences both on the personal as well as professional front. Some things that I could not learn just by reading the books.
