Lucknow University Admission 2021 application dates EXTENDED; Entrance exam from August 15!

LU Admissions 2021: Lucknow University has decided to conduct entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses in the academic session 2021-22. Further to this announcement, the LU administration has conveyed that the entrance exam of PhD will be computer-based in July. Its program will be released soon.

Lucknow University offers a total number of 3,800 seats for UG programmes and about 4,400 seats for postgraduate courses. Apart from this, many colleges of four districts have also participated in the new session under the centralized admission policy. Last year, amid the outbreak of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Lucknow University adopted the merit formula instead of the entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses. This time the varsity will conduct entrance test.

Lucknow University Admission 2021 Application Date Extended!

Talking about the conduct of Lucknow University Admissions 2021, LU Vice-Chancellor Professor Alok Kumar Rai, said that results are awaited for Class 12 board exams including CBSE 12^th results 2021 and UP Board 12^th results. Expecting that by July 31, the results of all the boards will be out, LU decided to fix the date of conducting the graduate entrance examination any day after August 15.

On the other hand, Lucknow University has once again extended the date of admission application in UG, PG, and Diploma courses due to the non-availability of board exam results. Now students will be able to submit LU Admissions 2021 application forms online until July 20. This is the fourth time to extend the date. Earlier, the date was extended due to the lockdown.

According to the university administration, the last date of application for the session 2021-22 for undergraduate courses and BL.Ed, post-graduate courses, graduate professional courses (BBA and BCA), postgraduate management courses (MBA and MTTM) have been extended from June 30 to July 20.

University spokesperson Dr Durgesh Srivastava informed that the last date for admission application for BPed, MPEd, MEd courses has been made July 20.

At the same time, the last date for online application for admission to Diploma, PG Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Certificate, and Proficiency courses has also been extended from June 30 to July 20.
