KNIT, Sultanpur is a flagship government autonomous college in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is an autonomous college and affiliated with Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. KNIT has a separate Training and Placement Cell which focuses on enhancing the competitive spirit of the students by providing them with dream opportunities in some of the well-known companies.

Placement Policies and Rules:

• All eligible students must register with the placement cell for any on-campus/poolcampus/off-campus recruitment.
• There are two modes for registration: by visiting the official website of the college or by submitting a Google Doc form.
• Separate registration forms will be required every time a student wishes to apply for a new job opportunity.
• Students must return to the placement cell a signed hardcopy of the registration form.
• Placements are divided into two categories-Regular (less than INR 5 LPA) and Dream (more than or equal to INR 5 LPA).
• Once 70% of students have been placed, the "dream" and "reserved" categories are eliminated, and all unplaced students are free to apply to any core company or mass recruiter on campus.
• Students are not permitted to discuss the selection/selection procedure with the recruiters.
• All required documents, including ID cards, are required.

Dress Code for the Interview: There is a proper mention of the dress code for the students attending the placement procedures/interview. Students are advised to wear light-coloured shirts paired with dark-coloured pants, along with formal shoes and light-coloured socks.

Wearing a tie could be optional. However, the student should come well groomed.

Students’ Milestones:

• Several teams qualified for the ACM-ICPC on-site round.
• Since its inception, KNIT has produced many gold, silver and bronze medalists.
• The college is proud of its alumni, who hold some of the most important positions in the country.
• Students from KNIT have also made their careers in research fields by making their way to some renowned organisations such as ISRO, BARC, etc.
