Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology was originally established as Kamla Nehru Institute of Science and Technology in the year 1976. It is an autonomous institute affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. The seat distribution for the above courses at KNIT, Sultanpur goes as follows:-
- Tech: 60+3+4 seats (each discipline), of which 60 are AICTE-approved. 10% is an additional intake in lieu of the fee waiver scheme.
