The main objective of this Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC) was to create awareness among students of Management, Engineering and Science courses about various facets of entrepreneurship. The idea of organising this workshop is to inculcate the fundamentals, key concepts of Entrepreneurship among students.

The main objective of the Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC) was to create awareness among students of Management, Engineering and Science courses about various facets of entrepreneurship. 

The idea of organising this workshop was to inculcate the fundamentals, key concepts of entrepreneurship among students.

The speakers for the day one were:- Richa Mahendra, Director, Finesse, Jaipur.  Vipin Sharma, Director, Shubh Lagn Pvt Ltd, Jaipur.

The speaker for day two was: - Prof. T. K. Jain, Professor and Social Entrepreneur, Jaipur.

  The students learned various Entrepreneur Skills essential for a startup. They presented their business ideas in front of the Venture capitalists and solved various case studies.

He stressed on leveraging on the opportunities identified and converting those into business models. He also asked students to apply for internship projects in startups rather than bigger companies, so that they can develop the necessary skills. The participants were divided into teams and were asked to propose a business idea that solves a problem. The students of the University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur had buddy sessions and validated their business ideas with their buddy teams. The speaker explained them about 9 main building blocks of the business model and he also showed a video about how to pitch the business idea. Overall this was a great learning experience for the students.

The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech at UEM Jaipur consists of the following:

  • Pass Class 12 with the subjects Physics, Maths and Biology/Chemistry/Vocational and a minimum aggregate score of 45%.
