Village Roots, AI Dreams: My College Journey Unfolds
My college is very old and has experienced faculties. It recently celebrated its 60th anniversary. It's North Karnataka's one of the reputed colleges. My college is near to my village so I decided to take admission. I was fascinated by AI and ML and their work, and because of my extensive knowledge and gaining of high job in AI and ML, I chose AIML. It is the new branch in my college and all over Karnataka, Students from this branch have huge knowledge in the field and are doing jobs in their field. After the guidelines of seniors and all I came to know that faculty members are very good in my branch and college infrastructure is also good. Many platforms have helped me gain admission here, especially shiksha.com also played a role in helping students like me.
I am currently in my second year of Engineering I will graduate in 2027. My branch is rapidly growing and has a bunch of opportunities for students. In this technical field, everything is AI. Before AI work was too heavy for people Nowadays, AI made our lives simple and enjoyable. That much AI is very helpful for everyone in day-to-day life. We can solve here real-world problems in our domain and help people. My college is not only providing theoretical knowledge but also works with skill development. My course is very helpful for everyone in many ways.
One of the most memorable things I experienced in my college. My college organise many events we friends all participate there and have fun. At our fresher's party, we had lots of fun moments and some day morning marathons which were never completed by us. The hostel feeling is very beautiful and unforgettable we do midnight birthdays of friends and parties. We did one small project in our first year of engineering and we learnt more in the field of coding and the application method of coding in real-world problems. I will bunk the classes sometimes and go to hotels to eat whenever hostel food becomes boring to us. I have made the right decision to choose this college for my Graduation, as it has not only increased my academic knowledge but also helped me gain willpower in big colleges and cities.

Faculty: The faculties at Basaveshwar Engineering College are good and friendly. They are interested in teaching new technologies along with the course curriculum.
Infrastructure: The campus of Basaveshwar Engineering College is Wi-Fi enabled, and the classrooms are well-maintained. The hostel facilities are good, and medical facilities are available on campus. The college also has a decent library and sports facilities.
Courses: Basaveshwar Engineering College offers 9 undergraduate and 8 postgraduate programs with 10 departments recognized as R&D. The courses offered by the college deal with both software and hardware.
Growth: Basaveshwar Engineering College has undergone unswerving growth since 1963. The college started as a private institute with only three engineering programs and came into Government grant in-aid code from 1968. By 2003, the college started 7 additional UG and 4 new PG programs, enhancing the students' strength from 300 to 2300 and faculty strength from 20 to 140. The college has been recognized as one of the best performing colleges and received additional grants to strengthen R&D activities.
