IIT BHU was just another engineering college within a university. By an ACT of Parliament, IT-BHU changed its affiliation to IIT (BHU) Varanasi on June 29, 2012. Lucknow University admissions are conducted on the basis of entrance exam scores and the merit of the student. It accepts entrance scores such as CUET, CUET-PG, and JEE Main.
