Extremely good college for the chemical science course.
Placements: At our college, students were getting enough placement opportunities. Almost 42% of my batchmates get successfully placed. The highest package offered was 13 LPA. The lowest package offered was 3.6 LPA. The average package offered was 5.2 LPA at this college. The top recruiters in the college were BPCL, Adani, Reliance, HPCL, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college for chemical science was good. The college had a wide campus on which all the necessary facilities were available. The college labs had all the necessary equipment and safety equipment. Wi-Fi and a library facility were also available on campus. Sports and medical facilities were also available at the college.
Faculty: At this college, all the teachers were experienced in teaching. Teachers at this college were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum of the college was relevant. Teachers were giving us all the necessary training and teaching us well. Exams in this college were medium-difficult.

It's a good college. It's good in academics, great in sports and has really good placements.
Placements: I am doing electrical and electronics engineering. Around 80% of students were placed from our college. All the tech companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and core companies also visit here. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available here, but its speed is very slow, and there are network issues with Airtel. If you use Idea and Vodafone or Jio, then it's fine. Classrooms are well, and there are good labs. The library is great. The hostel is fine but not much spacious. However, the food served in the hostel is great.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Many professors are PhD holders in their respective subjects. The course curriculum of engineering is the same and boring, but our college gives many other skill-developing courses. It's easy to pass semester exams if you regularly attend classes.
Other: I chose this course as I have an interest in it. 2 big events are organised every year in our college. The campus is great, and there is a huge infrastructure. There is greenery all over the campus. Scholarships are given by the government to OBC/ST/SC students.

Review of Laxminarayan Institute of Technology.
Placements: In currently going placements, about 33 students got placed, and it is still counting. The highest salary package offered by Vedanta and Reliance is 7.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Companies like Reliance, Vedanta, Galaxy Surfactants, DCM Shriram, etc., visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: The college is specifically for the chemical engineering course. The campus is green and has a lot of space. Labs are sufficient. The hostel is good. The college entry charges Rs. 1,500 per annum for the hostel, which is quite affordable. The library has books. The college provides the BT card in which we can take two books for 14 days, and we have to renew it.
Faculty: The good thing is that faculty members teach students like a school day. They solve the doubt of students if they ask. We go to college at nearly 8:30 am. and live at 4:30 pm. The course curriculum is quite good. Semester exams are in the offline writing mode, but due to COVID-19, it is conducted in an MCQ pattern.
Other: I have chosen the chemical engineering course because of its wide range of applications in the specified field. The campus life is good. I think that the improvement in sectors like sports and extracurricular activities must be included. Our college organises events related to our field, but other events like gatherings must also be included. I do not know whether I will go to participate in gatherings, but it is a good event to see our friends participating.

Teachers are highly qualified, experienced, knowledgeable and very helpful.
Placements: Almost all of the eligible students (criteria remains like more than 60% in each sem) get placed in Chemical Engineering branch. The highest package is more than 15 LPA (PSU), the lowest around 3 LPA, average 4 LPA. Top recruitment companies: Honeywell, Sudarshan, Praj, Reliance, Adani, HPCL, Galaxy Surfactant. Almost all students got internships in chemical industries. Roles offered were mostly chemical engineer or sales related.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the college have never been its distinctive point. The college has improved a lot in terms of infrastructure like labs, library, classrooms. Open Wi-Fi was not available until 2017. Quality of food, medical is not so good but it's manageable. Sports and games are mostly students oriented where students take up responsibilities and then they have the freedom to organise the best they can.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, experienced, knowledgeable and very helpful. They themselves are the consultants for other industries which helps students for great exposure and learning opportunity. Course curriculum theory wise is very deep being a technology-oriented. It contains a lot of practicals as well. So in all, it makes the students industry ready.
Other: I chose this course because its a very specialised course with a lot more opportunities than other engineering branches as Chemical is a rare branch. The best thing about the course is its resourcefulness about how to get the best out of the limited available resources. Things to improve: Infrastructure. Events, fests provide ample opportunities for all-round development. There is no need for the scholarship as being a state-run college, the fee is less than 30k per year. Still, the scholarship is available.

Review of Laxminarayan Institute of Technology.
Placements: All eligible students were placed from our class in which almost 77% of the students got placed in chemical engineering domain. The highest salary package offered was 17.9 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Around 70% of the students get placed during the interview, and the rest 30% choose to go for higher education.
Infrastructure: Hostel fees are nominal over here, and it is only available for 1st-year students for boys. For girls, it's until 4th year. Infrastructure is great for excellence and science building. The main campus is too old. It is not high. The charges are Rs. 20,000-25,000 per annum, and for meals, it's Rs. 12000 per annum extra. It's enough to stay at the college, and it's also flexible. Moreover, reserved students get all fees and expenses return in terms of scholarships.
Faculty: There is a mandatory messing arrangement on a monthly payment basis. There is a canteen in the institute premises. All-time internet facility and Wi-Fi on a yearly payment basis provided by the student development cell. There is LIT Boy's Hostel. Computer laboratory, department store, and student library are available here.

Infrastructure: Huge well developed library is available in laxminarayan institute of technology. All books required for all courses of B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. are available in this Library. There is a nice environment. Lots of opportunities are provided and placements are the best.
Placements: All the eligible students were placed from our class, in which 77% of students got placed in chemical engineering domain. The highest package offered was 17.6 LPA, the average package offered was 6 LPA and lowest package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were BPCL, Godrej, Flour Daniel, UPL, Honeywell, Thermax, Navin Flourine, BASF, Sudarshan, Reliance, Tata chemicals, Aarti Industries, Adani Wilmar, Techint, Balco. Top roles offered in our course were process engineer, executive production, marketing, designing and executive projects. All the students from chemical engineering course got an internship.
Infrastructure: Labs were equipped with all the essential apparatus. The library is present within the campus, where you can find all kinds of books related to the course, but the timings are from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Classrooms are spacious with digital projectors and some with a smart TV. Hostels are available for both boys and girls, but the priority is given for non-native students. Food quality is also good.
Faculty: Faculty here are erudite and approachable. If the student pays attention and tries to sharpen himself can become a master of almost all subjects. Projects and practicals cover the non-tangible part and give a great experience. The course is related to the curriculum and is up to date. Third-year students are encouraged to do an internship for 1-2 months, which helps students to get industrial exposure and make them industry-ready.
Other: I was interested in this field. In this course, getting knowledge quenched me most of my unanswered questions. You can improve more practical knowledge in this course. Ganesh festival celebration is organised in the college. MUN, Merge and React are the fests conducted by the college.
