B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2022
3.8
It is average in all things with a good campus, but teaching and placements are not much good.
Placements: Around 30%-40% of students get placed from here. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiters here are Adani Wilmar, Asian Paints and Sudarshan Chemicals. Almost 90% of students get internships in various companies and in the research field as well. Academically top 10% of the students of a batch get internship offers from IIT Bombay.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in our college, library and hostel. Classrooms are huge and spacious, and the labs are well-equipped as well. Characterisation technique instruments are also available here. There are two libraries, i.e., college library and university library. Our university library is one of the biggest libraries in Asia. Hostel facilities are good here, but the food facility is very poor. However, medical facilities are good, and sports and games facilities are great. There are a badminton court, football ground, basketball and cricket ground, and all the required resources are available. Moreover, the newly built swimming pool is well maintained also.
Faculty: Teachers and professors here are good enough with a nice educational background. Their teaching quality is average, and they are highly focused on research-oriented studies. The course curriculum is great, and it is designed by considering each aspect of chemical engineering. But it is a bit lagging in the industrial approach.
Other: Chemical engineering is one of the core branches and is emerging as well as interesting to study. So, I chose it. You will come to know many aspiring things like how chemical reactions take place in the industry, the transfer of molecules and substances and various factors affecting it. This campus is spread over more than 600 acres under university with greenery around. Scholarships are one of the best things to consider, due to which we can pay less fees to the college. Various events are organised at a campus level like Open House, Avishkar, etc.

The campus has plenty of trees, providing a pleasant atmosphere.
Placements: The placements are a little good as only a few companies come and recruit students who are talented and have the basic knowledge. The internships are good as everyone goes with their interest, and the top 10 percentile goes to IIT Bombay for research and get stipend.
Infrastructure: The atmosphere and infrastructure of our college are good. It has its own library and KRC center where you can get any of the books you want. It is the 3rd largest library in Asia. The hostel facilities are the same you have heard and saw in different series, and the same goes for the food.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful from the starting of the year. The professors are very knowledgeable and well-qualified. The teaching quality is good. There is a separate classroom for each batch. The course is very relevant to the industry and makes you work in any industry and also prepares you for some competitive exams.
Other: Events that we enjoyed are open house every year. Scholarships are available. The campus surrounding is very overwhelming and fresh. There are 4 huge playgrounds, swimming pool, gym, indoor games etc.

Extremely it is a good college with low fees and is good for studies and everything.
Placements: About 30% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Adani Wilmar, Spectrum, Freshtrop Fruits and Morya Chemicals are the top recruiters for our course. The top role offered in our course is safety engineering. Almost 100% of the students get internships as our course curriculum include 6-months internship programme through which many students get placed without campus interviews. The percentage of students get internships from our college is quite high, i.e., up to 50-60%.
Infrastructure: Our institute has great quality infrastructure and Wi-Fi facility. Every lab is very spacious and hygienic, and the classrooms are huge and are good. There are 2 libraries, i.e., departmental library and institutional library. Both these libraries have many types of books related to the curriculum and extracurricular activities. The hostel is well furnished, clean and hygienic. Good quality food is served in the hostel, and the hostel fee is less, i.e., Rs. 2,850 per year and Rs. 1,120 per month for the mess.
Faculty: Our college has good quality teachers, and they are helpful to students. They are highly qualified and nearly clear every doubt which students ask. The influence provided for GATE exam is good, and it approaches for the welfare of students. The course curriculum includes an internship, conferences, industrial visits, which are quite good.
Other: I have chosen this course because the chemical engineer has a huge range of courses, and it covers nearly all branches of engineering. It has mechanical as well as civil applications, and it is very interesting to study. I wish that our college should teach safety measures more. The huge event organised here is Open House. Our college organises a huge range of events and also organises conference trainee programs, etc.

I will give 1 out of 10 for placements, 5 out of 10 for teaching and 6 out of 10 for infrastructure.
Placements: If your financial background is weak, and you want to pursue your degree, then choose this college. But for placements, this college is not good as there are only 5% of chances of getting placements. Our college doesn't provide training and also do not have any placements. The placement officer is available only for a nominal purpose.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good. Teaching and learning here are good enough. Our college doesn't provide engineering life and has no alumni portal. Our college is helpful for only poor students who can't afford high fees. Our college has a supportive environment and supporting people. The quality of the food served is very low, but the accommodation is a bit good. Everyone will get accommodation. There are private canteens around hostel and college, and the library is good.
Faculty: The teaching quality here is not up to the mark, and only a few teachers are knowledgeable. Even our college lecturers would not help you to find a company for internships or Jobs.

The college is amazing, and I am glad to say that I am a student of NMU.
Placements: The college is good in terms of placements. Many of reputed organisations visit every year and select candidates for good salary packages. The university has their own placement cell, although university provides an industrial training course for the last six months, which is helpful to students and interviewing companies. Also, the college provides various courses, which help to build their career easily.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good with all the facilities like sports, medical-health centres for students, bank, post office, and well-organised hostels. The hostels do provide a good meal. There is a big library for students to study, where all types of books are available and use all types of interest. Also, the gym is available. There are playgrounds for cricket, volleyball, and tennis with athletics.
Faculty: The faculty members are so encourageable, and most of them are doctorates having higher qualifications. Although some of them have industrial experience too, which makes students understandable while they are teaching. The teaching quality is superb with the practical knowledge. During education, we get to exposure with industries also. I got to visit various industries three times during my B.Tech.
Other: I am thankful to NMU, I have seen some events, which are good. Every year, NMU arranged a gathering with various games, acts, competitions, and encourage students to perform. We got to know honourable chief guests. NMU provides scholarships to students. In short, it is the best college to take admission.

Best college for making the future better. Everything is good but placement is not good.
Placements: The placement is quite bad. Hardly 4-5 students from chemical engineering get placed. But in other branches like paint, food, etc., they placed almost all the students with minimum 2.0 lac to 4.5 lac per annum packages. About internship, our college provided a 6-month internship to nearly 99.99%. The students did internship in BARC, NCL, IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, Lupin, Dupont Paint, Asian Paint, Kansai Paints, Cadbury, Mondlez, Parele, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. It is full of nature. Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games all are the best. The quality of labs is great with all high-cost instruments like XRD, HPLC, SEM, TEM, UV, LYPHO, etc. The classrooms are great having projectors, speakers, push back chairs, biometric for attendance. The college has clean toilets, RO water system.
Faculty: The faculty was fantastic. there are no words to explain about the way helped in our college life. All faculty members have a minimum 10-15 years of teaching experience. Lots of research is on going under them. Also, the college has foreign student exchange program with countries like Japan, Poland, etc.

Good government college for Chemical Engineering with decent placements.
Placements: Placements for Chemical Engineering are above average. Around 60?70% of students get placed and its depending on the batch. The average package range between 3?4 LPA, with the highest package going around 6?7 LPA, while the lowest is around 2.5 LPA. Recruiters include chemical manufacturing companies, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, and some core as well as non-core companies. Internship opportunities are available, but students often need to be proactive in securing good internships. Common roles include process engineer, quality analyst, production trainee, and technical roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the Chemical Engineering department is good enough. Laboratories are well-maintained, and classrooms are not so good. Wi-Fi is available but can be consistent at times. The library has a good collection of academic books. Hostel facilities are average; food quality is also not so good but improves occasionally. Sports facilities and medical support are available on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, knowledgeable, and most of them are helpful. Most teachers explain concepts clearly. The curriculum is relevant and focuses on core chemical engineering fundamentals, which helps in higher studies and core jobs. Semester exams are moderate difficult, and the pass percentage is fairly high for students who attend classes and prepare regularly it's depends on the batch.
Other: I have chose Chemical Engineering at UICT because of its reputation within NMU and the low feels is also the big reason. The best part of the course is the focus on core chemical engineering subjects like mass transfers, heat transfers, and chemical reaction engineering. Faculty members are supportive and guide students when approached. However, industry exposure can be improved through more industrial visits and collaborations. Campus events are decent but can be made more engaging. Scholarships are available for eligible students, and extracurricular activities exist but depend mostly on student initiative.

Review of Kavayitri Bahinbai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University.
Placements: College provides placements every year for students. There are about 7-10 companies visit our college for placements. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. About 14-20 students from our college got placed in placement. Placements will be continued in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. The construction area is about 63,890 square metre. It is a wholly self-contained campus comprising everything that students would require on the campus. The campus has a wireless computer network. The internet speed is up to 64 kbps. Each classroom has data and power port. Most of the labs are outfitted with an individual workstation. The college provides complete learning laboratory with 27 major classrooms and lab offering complete access to the web, computer database, digital media and the host of other resources. The college houses woodshop, several mini-shops and other machine shops.
