According to students, the overall paper of DU JAT was moderate to difficult. Read this article on DU JAT 2019 paper analysis by students to know more on the section-wise difficulty, exam pattern and expected cut off.

DU JAT 2019 exam is conducted for Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) and BA (Hons) Business Economics programmes. DU JAT entrance exam was conducted on July 6. The first shift of the exam was conducted from 12 pm to 2 pm while the second shift was held from 4 pm to 6 pm. As per the feedback provided by the students, the overall paper was moderate to difficult. The students further informed that the pattern was similiar like last year with little variations in the difficulty level.

Shiksha visited a DU JAT exam centre in Rohini where around 200 to 250 students had appeared for the exam to know the reaction of students regarding the difficulty level of exam.

Talking to Shiksha regarding the difficulty level of exam, Jasmeet Kaur said, "The paper was difficult to moderate. The Quantitative Aptitude section was difficult since it comprised basic maths questions of Class 11 and 12."

Jhanavi Gupta said, "The exam was moderate in terms of difficulty level. Maths questions were tricky while Reasoning was easy. The General Knowledge questions were moderate. In Maths, I have attempted 3 to 4 questions only."

Aastha Sharma said, "The paper of DU JAT was easy. The toughest part for me was Current Affairs. The questions on Current Affairs were from recent events. I have appeared for CLAT and other exams too and thought that the paper will be tough but it was easy."

Tanu said, "The overall paper was moderate. It was neither tough nor easy. The paper was balanced. Expecting that I get admission in a good college."

Yuvika Tiwari said, "The paper was easy compared to previous years'. I found the English section to be difficult while Mathematics was easy. The General Knowlege and Business Studies were also easy."

Yushu Bansal Said, "The paper was moderate. In Maths, questions came from Differentiation, Integration. In English, questions came from comprehension, puzzles etc."

Shalu said, "The overall paper was good. It took time to solve the questions of GK and Maths. I want to take admission in Deen Dayal College."

Vanya a student from DAVV School said, "The paper was moderate to easy. The cut off is expected to go up. I want to take admission in Agrasen College."

 DU JAT Paper Analysis – Pattern

The paper was divided into four sections - Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General English and Business and General Awareness. There were total 100 questions which candidates had to solve within 2 hours. All questions were objective type multiple choice. Total marks of the test is 400. For correct answer, candidates will get four marks. For wrong answers, one mark will be deducted.
