SAT stands for Scholastic Assessment Test. Students interested in admission in any of these colleges or universities apply for this examination. The examination is divided into three sections - 

• Reading Section 

• Writing and Language Section

• Mathematics Section - Both Calculative and non calculative. 

At times, one additional section i.e. Essay section is also added in the SAT examination. The usual time duration for the examination is Three hours (180 minutes ) or Three Hours and Fifty Minutes, if the essay section in included.
