There are seven sections in BIEAP Class 12 Commerce examination. The long answer type questions carry 20, 10 and 5 marks and short answer type questions carry two marks each. Students preparing for BIEAP Class 12 Commerce exam need a clear understanding of the basic concepts of every subject.

The seven sections in BIEAP Class 12 Commerce exam, as pointed out above, have a different grading structure. The maximum and minimum marks allotted for a section are 20 and 10 respectively. The marking scheme of BIEAP Class 12 Commerce examination is given below:

BIEAP Class 12 Commerce Exam - Grading pattern
- Section A: A maximum of two questions should be attempted out of the three questions given in the section. These questions should be answered in not more than 40 lines each.
- Section B: A maximum of four questions should be attempted out of the six questions given in the section. These questions should be answered in not more than 20 lines each.
- Section C: A maximum of five questions should be attempted out of the eight questions given in the section. These questions should be answered in not more than 5 lines each.
- Section D: A question on Accountancy is given in this section, and the student will have to prepare the Ledger Accounts and Balance Sheets.
- Section E: One question should be attempted out of the two questions given in this section. The questions will be based on Accountancy and the student will have to prepare a Ledger Account or an Income and Expenditure Account.
- Section F: A maximum of two questions should be attempted out of the four questions given in this section.
- Section G: A maximum of five questions should be attempted out of the eight questions given in this section. These questions are to be answered in not more than five lines each.
