Review of the Andhra University College of Engineering!
Placements: Around 60 percent of the students are placed in companies due to recession. Very low packages are offered, so many of them rejected those jobs. The highest package is around 18 Lacs per annum, and the average package is around 4 Lacs in the college. Top companies like Oracle, TCS, and JSW often visit the campus and hire merit students. Internships from companies are too less offered in the college, with only less than 100 students from the campus hired for internships by companies. For my course, roles offered are based on VLSI and communication basis jobs. Placements and internships from big companies are very low in the college.
Infrastructure: The course plan is quite good to follow, and we have 2 labs per each semester. The equipment and lab facilities are good in the college. Good infrastructure is provided in the department also. Wi-Fi is provided in the whole campus, but the network speed is less, which irritates in some cases. The library in the campus is too large, so around 100 students can sit and read at the same time. Almost every type of book is available in the library. The facilities are bad in aspects of food and hostel. The hostel room is too small and has to be adjusted by 2 members. Bathrooms and other sanitation are not cleaned properly daily. Coming to the food, it is harsh to eat and has to be adjusted in the hostels. A mess is allocated to each hostel to avoid the difficulty of rush. Canteens available in the campus sell good food in taste compared to the messes present in the colleges. Around 3 to 4 canteens are available inside the college. A small hospital attached to the college is present, in which emergency medical services are provided to the students, and then if anything gets serious, they are sent outside to other big hospitals. The college spends very low funds in games and sports. They are not much encouraged in the campus by the management. But there are spacious grounds and courts for each sport.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, so they teach good, but many of them are too fast to catch. They are helpful in doing projects and internships under them by giving good guidance to success. The course plan is not designed well, as some irrelevant subjects are added to the course. But the remaining part is okay to manage for higher studies. It will provide good ways to placements also. The exams are too easy in most of the professors, and some professors make it too hard, even to get pass marks. On average, the exams are a bit easy to pass, except for a few subjects. The pass percentage of the students is above 70 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in VLSI systems. I want to go for higher studies in the field of communication side. Communication studies are quiet interesting and have a bright future in the coming years. Good packages are also provided for these courses in the present situations. The course plan and method of teaching should be improved. Labs also need to be developed with present technologies. Hackathon events should be conducted for good skills. Fests are conducted in the college but on a very small scale with a low budget. Cultural events are also conducted a few times. The campus is too big but can be managed by walking. It is located in the center of the city, so anything can be fetched easily by going into the city. Scholarships are also provided by various organizations to economically backward students in different categories. Clubs are also present, like cultural, technical, and socio clubs, and are funded by the college.

Absolutely satisfied because of the college environment and faculty.
Placements: Around 80 percent of the students got placed in our course. Forty-five Lacs per month is the highest package, and the average package is four Lacs fifty thousand per annum. The lowest package is two Lacs fifty thousand per annum. Many companies came to our college; some of them are GMR Construction and Larsen and Turbo Limited, etc. Ninety percent of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure provided by the college management were excellent. The classrooms were simply awesome and are digital classrooms. Wi-Fi facility was not available on the campus. There is a central library with thousands of books, and the labs are good. The quality of the facilities in your hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen are excellent. There are lots of sports activities and student clubs.
Faculty: Andhra University College of Engineering has highly qualified faculty members who are more knowledgeable. The teaching quality was excellent, and the approach of teachers to the students is excellent. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are very difficult, and the pass percentage is 80 percent.
Other: I'm interested in geography; the best thing in the course is about nature and earth sciences. There are many technical and non-technical events, and college fests are conducted by the college management. The campus is situated in the middle of Visakhapatnam city, and many curricular and extracurricular activities are conducted by student clubs.

Review of Andhra University College of Engineering.
Placements: The highest package received in the last year is about 14 lakh per annum in the on-campus placement drive; considering the off-campus placement drive, the highest package received is about 84 lakh per annum; the average package approximately received is about 6–8 lakh per annum.
Infrastructure: The hostel ambience is not good and each room contains about 2 students. The mess of the hostel is not good and many students eat from outside. The department is well equipped with the infrastructure, but it does not have a Wi-Fi facility.
Faculty: The teachers mainly teach from the text book and many teachers were not so good; some were exceptional. The semester examinations are difficult but many pass through them, but there were students with backlogs. The midterm exams are the teacher's choice; they can conduct them or not.

The college is neither too good nor too bad.
Placements: Placements in the campus are reducing year by year and it would be better if you have your own plan regardless of what they teach and tell you to do. The average package offered is 6 Lacs per annum and the highest is 10 lacs per annum, not many students qualify for the interviews.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is okay. But the infrastructure in the hostel or in the hostel premises is not that good, it is okay because after all it is a government college. The hostel mess food is again a thing to complain about.
Faculty: Faculty members who completed Ph.D. in their respective domains and have years of experience have been employed after working for good companies and many of them have published their own books. They have good experience in teaching and understanding the students’ problems in the subjects.

    Best engineering life to you.
Placements: Placements, oh placements – that word scares every engineering student. Yes, before last year, we had superb placements; that time Andhra University glowed up. We got the highest of 84 Lacs, and nearly 90% of them are placed. Yes, here L and T, JSW, WIPRO and so on.
Infrastructure: Campus infra is good – absolutely green everywhere; it feels amazing to walk and hill in the campus. Hostel is not up to the mark; government hostels, no, so it's not up to the mark, and hostel fee is so low that it's not up to the mark. Food is average over there, and yes, it's really good to studying in our college.
Faculty: The professors are absolutely great; every professor has other PhDs, and they are really talented. The exams are the same in every engineering college – like 2 semesters for one year and 4 midterms. The semesters are tough, and invigilation is tough, and midterms are okay, and the exams are too difficult.
Other: Our college is like a freedom house. You can do whatever you want; you can create your own clubs if you want; you can participate in every club like that. The college atmosphere is so good, and you'll have department days which is very good, and you guys will know what engineering means. The engineering life is the best part of our career, and you don't have to miss it. Our college will give you the best engineering life. You'll be having a perfect engineering life if you join our college.

Andhra University College of Engineering has a moderate academic schedule with 5-15 lectures per week, and frequency of exams and tests is semesterly. Exam preparation is easy, and there are well-stocked research and reading resources available. The college has a strict attendance policy and consequences for rule violations, but no reports of discrimination have been made. The campus life is mostly English-speaking, and there are designated student representatives for support.
