Karnataka SSLC grading system

Karnataka SSLC grading system 2026: The  Karnataka School Examinations and Assessments Board, KSEAB has prescribed the Karnataka Class 10 grading system 2026 which consists of grades from A+ to C. According to the Karnataka SSLC grading system 2026, A+ grade is awarded for those who achieve 90 percent marks or more. The total marks of SSLC exam Karnataka is 625. Karnataka SSLC Exam 2026 will be held from March 18 to April 2, 2026. Karnataka SSLC exam-2 2026 will be held from May 18 to 25, 2026.

Karnataka SSLC Result 2026: Grading System

Those who score 80 to 90 percent marks are awarded with A grade. B+ grade is given for those who achieve 70 to 80 percent marks. B grade is given for 60 to 70 percent marks. C+ grade is given for those who achieve 50 to 60 percent marks. C grade is given for 35 to 50 percent marks. Students need to score minimum 219 marks out of 625 to clear Karnataka SSLC exam.

Steps to Calculate CGPA:

  1. Add all the grade points. 
  2. Divide the total grade points by the number of subjects.

Students have to score a minimum of 33% marks in theory and practical to clear the Karnataka SSLC exam. Those who fail in the SSLC exam will have to write the SSLC exam 2. The Karnataka board release the karnataka SSLC exam 3 dates soon after the declaration of the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2 result 2026.

 

As per the revised Karnataka SSLC passing criteria for 2026, students will be declared qualified only if they meet all of the following conditions:

  • Secure an average of 33% marks, combining both internal assessments and external examinations.

  • Score a minimum of 206 marks out of the total 625.

  • Obtain at least 30% marks in each individual subject.
