Karnataka SSLC grading system 2026: The  Karnataka School Examinations and Assessments Board, KSEAB has prescribed the Karnataka Class 10 grading system 2026 which consists of grades from A+ to C. According to the Karnataka SSLC grading system 2026, A+ grade is awarded for those who achieve 90 percent marks or more. The total marks of SSLC exam Karnataka is 625.

KSEAB will conduct the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2026 from March 18 to April 2, 2026. Karnataka SSLC exam-2 2026 will be held from May 18 to 25, 2026. Large number of students are eagerly waiting for Karnataka SSLC results 2026. The Karnataka SSLC board will release the SSLC results 2026 in April 2026. Karnataka SSLC Result 2026: Grading System

Students can check the table below to understand the grading system used by the Karnataka Board to prepare the SSLC Result 2026 Karnataka.

Those who score 80 to 90 percent marks are awarded with A grade. B+ grade is given for those who achieve 70 to 80 percent marks. B grade is given for 60 to 70 percent marks. C+ grade is given for those who achieve 50 to 60 percent marks. C grade is given for 35 to 50 percent marks. Students need to score minimum 219 marks out of 625 to clear Karnataka SSLC exam.

  1. Add all the grade points. 
  2. Divide the total grade points by the number of subjects.

Karnataka SSLC result 2026: Passing Criteria

Students have to score a minimum of 33% marks in theory and practical to clear the Karnataka SSLC exam. Those who fail in the SSLC exam will have to write the SSLC exam 2. The Karnataka board release the karnataka SSLC exam 3 dates 2026 soon after the declaration of the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2 result 2026.

As per the revised Karnataka SSLC passing criteria for 2026, students will be declared qualified only if they meet all of the following conditions:

  • Secure an average of 33% marks, combining both internal assessments and external examinations.

  • Score a minimum of 206 marks out of the total 625.

  • Obtain at least 30% marks in each individual subject.

Students must collect their original Karnataka Class 10 SSLC mark sheet and certificate from gthe schools. They should verify the details. Then they can start applying for 2nd PUC admission.

Karnataka board will conduct 3 board exams in a year. SSLC exam 1 is mandatory for all students. Those who fail in SSLC exam 1 can apply for exam 2. Those who did not clear SSLC exam 2 can appear for the exam 3.

Karnataka SSLC board does not sent any individual notification regarding the declaration of the Karnataka 10th result. Students need to keep a track of the same online. Once announced, the Karnataka SSLC results can be checked by logging with the required credentials.

Students should secure an aggregate of 33% marks in both internal assessment and external examination, and secure at least 206 marks out of a total of 625 marks, and secure at least 30% marks in the respective subjec. Then they will be declared passed.

Karnataka board provides the SSLC books designed by the KSEAB board to the students through schools. Students are advised to learn only from the books provided by the Karnataka board. The questions asked for the Karnataka SSLC exam will be completely based on the books provided by the KSEAB board.
