Instead, the Karnataka Board has introduced ‘three annual examinations’ namely Exam 1, Exam 2 and Exam 3 for SSLC board exams. Under the revised module, students will get opportunity to improve their score by taking the best score out of the 3 exams.

The Karnataka 10th exam is held for a duration of three hours without any break. 15 minutes extra time will be given for reading the question paper for all subjects. For first language and optional subjects, 3 hours is allotted for writing the exam and 15 minutes for question paper reading. Karnataka SSLC exam is not a difficult exam. Usually the difficulty level is easy to moderate. More than 8 Lacs students appear for the Karnataka SSLC exam.

Students should secure an aggregate of 33% marks in both internal assessment and external examination, and secure at least 206 marks out of a total of 625 marks, and secure at least 30% marks in the respective subjec. Then they will be declared passed. 

Karnataka SSLC board does not sent any individual notification regarding the declaration of the Karnataka 10th result. Students need to keep a track of the same online. Once announced, the Karnataka SSLC results can be checked by logging with the required credentials.
