The GIBS Business School takes admissions for PGDM/MBA based on scores of various entrance examinations at national and state level. The names of exams included are CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT and State CET (if applicable). The selection of candidates is made based on their exam scores obtained through entrance examination, their academic performance, SOP as well as personal interview.

In the case of the BBA programme, no entrance examination is required. The admission process is based on the Class 12 (10+2) exam score followed by the admission process conducted by the institution which may include personal Interview (PI) and group discussion (in some cases).

In the course of implementation of the programme, GIBS Business School ensures practical exposure and readiness for the industry. GIBS adopts its unique learning model where major components of the curriculum are dedicated to practical activities including live projects, case study analysis, internships, industrial visits, business simulations, role-play, and fieldwork which help students adapt what they know in practice.
