My school life was totally astray, especially inter & tenth was wide off the mark. I was a shy kid in a tough public school, drenched in depression and inferiority complex and got bullied several times in school corridors and premises by fellow classmates. I still remember the time when daddy had no money and mommy saved money in a piggy bank and she gave me that for covering my school expenses and all.

During my board exam study leave, my father fell ill, he got kidney stone and kidney infection and was very serious and admitted in the hospital for several months. I spent my time in hospital because I’m the only child of my parents and there was no one to help or stay in the hospital. I was actually interested in Science stream but due to low marks in tenth, I chose Commerce. In class XI, I didn’t study much and was totally frustrated with Accountancy and all. But in class XII, I tried to focus my mind and fixed some goals in life and started to work on it, and the result was so magical. I got 84% in class XII and I still remember the day, I fell on the chair as I got dumbstruck when I heard my marks! Life is like a box of chocolates you never know what you are going to get!

I’m currently pursuing PGDM from IPE Hyderabad and there are lot of reasons to choose this college.The main reasons are its pollution-free lush green campus with excellent faculty and excellent placements.

Entrance exam and result was like a bolt from the blue! TIME played a major role in helping me get a decent score in CMAT. The study material issued by the coaching institute are perfect to score good marks in MBA entrance exams. I applied to IPE with my CMAT score. And that’s how I got into IPE Hyderabad.Everything was a miracle it may have beenby God’s grace or my parents’ blessings. Everything is going fine like a tide in the sea or like dew drops on a flower, I’m just studying here peacefully.

What I gained from my college years

Well, it’s been 7 months I’m here and I just feel like a bird flying through the sky with a mesmerizing level of confidence and focused mind. I have settled into the rhythm of the PGDM course. Although the workload is much heavier than anything I was used to as an undergraduate, or compared to the hours I put in working at a bank before taking a sabbatical to return to studies; but I try to take advantage of some of the perks of being a student again.

I still remember my first day in college, I came with full fear and low confidence level and self-esteem. But time heals everything whether it’s the pain you are suffering now or the ups and downs you are facing, everything has an end. My mom always says you have to put your past behind before you move on! That’s exactly the message I want to convey to all the students in the world who are immensely depressed or if your life is turning too hard or too tough. The point is that you have to face it with guts and the inner strength hidden inside your mind. This is what I do. Life is full of ups and downs but conquer the fear and move forward with full power and that’s what I have done for these seven months.

I got rejected for the SIP conducted by Deloitte and was depressed for weeks but I didn’t give up. I applied in E&Y which is also a big accounting firm and I got selected in that. So this is life; never give up! When I came here I was totally scared and had lost the path to success, my life feltentangled. But thanks to all the presentations and seminars in class which help me reduce my fear of public speaking. This impacted my entire personality, taking my confidence level to another level and the result was the title of ‘Best motivational speaker’ and my fellow classmates came to me for advice regarding curing depression in order to achieve one’s goals. In addition to that I performed guitar and rap in college programs and fests and got huge applause from fellow students and professors. Extra-curricular activities are an important part of college life. If given a chance I would like to participate in story writing competition and product design competition. I give motivation classes to students and in addition to that I go to the library and read books whenever I get a free period.
