No, it is not as hard to get admission in Punjab College of Technical Education as admission into the programme takes place through the merit secured in the last qualifying exam. Be it graduation or Class 12th. PCTE also provides great placement opportunities as well where the maximum package offered was 15 LPA and the average is 6.5 LPA. PCTE also has an Entrepreneurial Cell, a recognised Incubator by Start-up Cell Punjab for students who want to start a business or learn specific skills to expand their existing business. Even the fees of the college are very reasonable as PCTE has been awarded 2nd & 9th Best College on an ROI basis by Outlook Magazine and is recognised by the state government University. So, this was my honest review of the college.
