AAFT: An affordable film school.
Placements: Above 60 percent of students in the college are placed in some companies or other organizations. The highest package is 14 LPA, and the lowest package may be around 3 LPA. The average package is around 5 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Phantom Studios and Stage.
Infrastructure: Many classrooms and every classroom and corridors has air conditioning. There is a big library with many books. There is a good quality projector in every classroom with good speakers. A canteen with many options for lunch, snacks, and drinks, even has Cafe Coffee Day. The hostel has good food and has a bus for us to travel.
Faculty: The faculty is the best part, many of the faculty members have graduated from top film schools of India (FTII and SRFTII). The course is quite relevant, teaching old cinema and contemporary cinema from all around the world. The exam is as we studied, if we pay attention in class, it will be easy. The pass percentage is 40 percent according to university norms.
Other: I chose this course because it provides all the facilities of a film school and is within one-third of most film schools in India, with highly qualified teachers. The campus is great with many departments, there is a celebrity here now and then, and many events around once every month and a half.

The place of promises, AAFT.
Placements: More than 65 percent of students got placed in my course. The rest weren't because either they weren't interested or they weren't attentive. The highest package is 14.5 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is 6.4 LPA. Recruiting companies are Sherwali Morab Production, Phantom Production, NDTV, and many more. Mostly, the roles offered are assistant directors, assistant cinematographers, and advertising.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is okay, the new classrooms are good, and the old ones are usable. The library is really beautiful, with almost every book you can ask for. The hostel is kind of bad, the food is bad, but it is the only one of the many other hostels that they rented. The college canteen is nice, and the food served there is good for how much it costs.
Faculty: The teachers are probably the best part of the college. They always helped and guided me whenever I had trouble. It does make the students industry-ready, and the students will know how and what to do outside of here. They're easy if the students are attending the classes regularly. The pass percentage is 40 percent.
Other: I chose the course because I was always in love with movies. I wanted to learn how to tell my stories in a good way. The best things about my course definitely have to be the shoots themselves. Bringing a video to life gives a new form of high that no other thing ever can. I just wish that they could teach us screenwriting in a less boring way. They try their best, but I have an attention span of a fish, and it's kind of hard for me to be focused on one boring thing. Events and fests are decent, it really feels like there's a film fest.

I have seen a drastic change in myself after completing my course.
Placements: Above 60 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 14 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are NDTV, Sanskar, ABP News, etc. Roles offered are writers, cinematographers, senior editing assistant, etc.
Infrastructure: Computer systems and Wi-Fi are available all over the campus. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Studios are available for shoots after taking permission from the faculty. The canteen offers sufficient food and coffee options. The editing lab has Mac systems and all editing software.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, friendly, and cooperative. They make the classes fun. The course curriculum is relevant and has ample room for practical experiences. Difficulty levels of exams are normal. As per university norms, the minimum passing percentage is 40 percent.
Other: I took this course because I have a keen interest in Cinema. By studying in this college, I got to know minds who are interested in this field like me.

A descriptive course with good faculty.
Placements: Placements are satisfactory, placement support from the placement cell is very good and cooperative. The placement cell helps throughout the resume-building and interview process. Few companies offer high packages, and a variety of companies arrive for placements.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure for learning, cinema lights, and cinema cameras are available, which support the learning process and provide hands-on experience to the students. The hostel facility is average and requires improvement. The food is not good, and the cleaning is average.
Faculty: Teachers are learned and qualified from prestigious institutions as FTII and SRFTI. The translation of knowledge from the teacher to the student is seamless. The doubt-solving by teachers is excellent, which makes the learning thorough and interactive.
Other: The crowd is mixed, with a few students here to learn and others to pass the time.
