Supportive faculty members, strong core labs, peaceful campus, good for self-motivated EEE students.
Placements: Around 65-75% of EEE students are placed via campus or off-campus drives. Highest salary package is 6 LPA, average is 3.2 LPA, and lowest is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiters are Tata Power, L&T, Cognizant, Jindal Steel, Bosch, Wipro, Capgemini, and TCS. Top roles are graduate engineer trainee, electrical design engineer, embedded developer, control systems engineer, site engineer, and maintenance engineer.
Infrastructure: The EEE department has labs for electrical machines, power electronics, control systems, microcontrollers, and power systems. Classrooms are spacious, airy, and have projectors, smart boards (in some blocks). Wi-Fi is active near the library and labs. Hostel Wi-Fi is weak or slow. Mobile data also works poorly. Internet speed is often low. It has a good central library. It has EEE books, journals, old papers, and project reports. It has well-equipped labs for machines, control systems, and microcontrollers.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, approachable, and supportive both inside and outside the class. Most faculty members are postgraduates, and few are PhD holders, with good technical knowledge and subject command. The course follows the VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) syllabus, which covers core EEE subjects like: electrical machines, power systems, power electronics, control systems, embedded systems, renewable energy, basics of Python/C, IoT, and project work in final year. If you attend classes and prepare well from the notes and previous year's questions, you can pass easily. Labs and internals carry decent weight and can help boost scores. Friendly and knowledgeable faculty members are ready to support in academics and even in career guidance.
Other: I chose EEE because I was always curious about how electrical machines, circuits, and electronics systems work. The blend of hardware and technical problem-solving in this branch matched my interest in both core engineering and new technologies like automation and IoT. It also offers wide career options, from power sector jobs to embedded systems and renewable energy. Best thing about the course is that strong core foundation in both electrical and electronics domains, which gives flexibility in career choices.

It is not someone's dream college.
Placements: The placement here is average. The placement percentage is around 70 percent. For my department, the placement is very much limited. The average package is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The top packages are 10 LPA to 12 LPA, which are for the IT section. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys come to recruit. The internship can be done in any year.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very basic. The labs are good. The library has well-stocked books. Wi-Fi is available, but the speed varies in different sectors. The hostel facilities are moderate. A separate hostel is present for boys and girls. The mess food is good and acceptable for all. Medical facilities are present.
Faculty: Teachers are good but not experienced. Most of the teachers prefer teaching in the old style. The course curriculum is not so relevant. The course is not up to the mark. The semester exams are easy if you have read the books. The pass percentage is above 88 percent.
Other: If you get into this college, it is better to prepare for the GATE exam to have a good M.E course.
