Good college to study and research but not to enjoy .

Placements: From our branch, 30% of students are placed with an average package of 3 Lacs. Sankalp Semiconductor is the company for hiring our department from our college. An internship is provided, so it is not allowed for an outside internship as per VTU guidelines on paid internships.

Infrastructure: All the students can avail free Wi-Fi from the library, and it will be open until 5 p.m. We are having high-quality labs with smart boards for each class for the digital learning process. Before, we had no canteen during our admission, but now we have a new canteen on our campus that is student-friendly. As a college student, we have free medical facilities for college students in AGMR B.A.M.S. hospital.

Faculty: Our department has highly qualified faculty members, and on average they have 60 years of experience in our department. Engineering, electronics, and communication engineering is one of the toughest courses, but our faculty members made it easy to understand the subjects and concepts and techniques for scoring the subjects.

My school is better than this type of engineering college.

Placements: Around 10-20% of students from the batch were placed. The highest salary offered is around Rs. 45,000 per month, while the average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is around Rs. 10,000 per month. The top recruiting companies for our course are Infosys, Mindtree, Carmel Solutions, etc. Assistant engineer to customer executive roles is offered in our course. The highest salary package offered in our course is around 5 LPA, while the average salary package offered is 2.3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is around 1 LPA. Getting an internship is good in our college as almost every student gets an internship from our course in companies like Infosys, Shanthala Industries, VRL, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is deplorable in our college, and there are also no proper facilities here. Wi-Fi facility is available, but only for namesake. However, sometimes we can access the internet through an Ethernet cable. The library is also poor, and there are proper chairs to sit. Almost all times there will be no power supply in the labs, and while final exams only, they'll use generators. The hostel has the worst facilities compared to government hostels, and always there is a terrible smell around it. There is no hygiene at all. There are average medical facilities, but sports facilities are not available. However, some students show an interest in sports.

Faculty: Teachers here are always helpful and also qualified and have enough knowledge to teach us. But the teaching quality depends upon the facilities available in our college. This course is curriculum relevant, which makes students have an interest in their studies. They become industry-ready.

Other: I have an interest in electronic devices, so I have chosen this course. Faculty members are the best in our course. Practical knowledge should be increased in our course. Our college has a very small area to conduct events and fests. Its stage is not huge enough compared to my school stage as my school infrastructure and facilities are better compared to this great engineering college. However, students get scholarships from the government but not from any college.
