Our college is very beautiful and location is nice.

Placements: 20% of students got placed in my course. The highest package, no idea. The lowest package, no idea because we are the 1st batch. There are no recruiting companies for our course. 90% of students from my course are going for internships. I do not have an idea about colleges and companies.

Infrastructure: Facilities quality is very standard. Hostel and college have Wi-Fi facilities. Lab for all departments has been ready since last year. Library has many books. Hostel facilities are good for food, and our living instruments are helping. Canteen is not available but this year sure opening. One important thing is that 2 hostels are just available.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. All HODs are very helpful. They are qualified teachers and also they are knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very different and helpful for all students. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes students ready for the industry. Exams are not difficult, and when you don't read anything so this is heavy for you. 60% is the pass percentage.

Other: We are the 1st batch here.

Dissatisfied because of the placements, average college, and faculty.

Placements: Actually, our college, Alipurduar Government Engineering and Management College, is very new. It was opened in the year 2023. So, there are only two batches in the college till now. There are no placement records till now. There were some online internships in our college.

Infrastructure: There are 4 departments (CSE, ECE, AI, EE) in our college. Wi-Fi is available in classes. Overall, it is in good condition. There are 2 boys' hostels and 1 girls' hostel. Food is given two times a day in hostels. The quality of food is good. There is also Wi-Fi available in hostels. There is a problem with the playground, as the college is located near mountains and forests.

Faculty: I would say the faculty is average. There are fewer teachers in our college. But all the teachers are very knowledgeable. Some of the teachers are from big institutes like IIT and Jadavpur University. As the college is new, with time the faculty will be good enough and make the students industry-ready.

Other: I think the best things about this course are that you can learn a lot of skills and get multiple types of jobs. Rather than focusing on college, I would say focus on skills. Because at last, you need a degree and skills to work. In college life, try to participate in events and have a good conversation with seniors. It will help you increase your communication skills. There will be much more scholarship in your B.Tech 1st year, so research about these to get them.

Review of Alipurduar Government Engineering and Management College.

Placements: The average package is around 4-5 LPA. Because the main four engineering branches are there and the departments are highly demanded in future . So I think this college placement will be decent as a new engineering college.

Infrastructure: The college has one academic building, one administration building, two boys' hostels, one girls' hostel, and two workshops. The campus is still under construction. The classrooms are well-equipped with advanced infrastructure, including projectors, sound systems, and more. The labs are also well-equipped for practical learning.

Faculty: The college is affiliated with MAKAUT, and the course curriculum is designed by MAKAUT. The faculty members are highly respected, educated, experienced, and very friendly. Every year, the curriculum includes 4 CAs (Continuous Assessments), lab exams, semester exams, viva, and projects.

Other: The college campus is located in a beautiful place beside the Raidak River, about 30 km from Jayanti. There is a lot of greenery, and the environment is pollution-free.
