WBJEE exam pattern comprises two papers: Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry). While the Mathematics section of WBJEE carries a total of 100 marks against 75 questions, the Physics and Chemistry sections comprise a total of 50 marks against 40 questions in each of the sections.

The scores and ranks obtained in the entrance examination will be released through the result of WBJEE 2025. The authorities will not use any other mode to declare the result. Yes. The authorities of WBJEEB are expected to announced the list of WBJEE 2025 toppers. The list of the top rankers in the entrance examination will be released through a press conference. In the previous year examination, Kingshuk Patra secured the first rank. Shubhradeep Paul and Bibaswan Biswas secured the second and third rank, respectively.

Q:   What are the steps to access the WBJEE result?
A:

WBJEE 2025 result link will be available at wbjeeb.nic.in. The candidates will not be able to access their scores through any offline mode i.e., through post, email or physically. To access the WBJEE result, the candidates will have to visit the official website, click on the result link and log in using their application number and date of birth. WBJEE Marking Scheme

WBJEE Cut-Off Marks

WBJEE cut-offs are the minimum marks required by candidates for a higher chance of admission. However, it is to be noted that meeting the cutoff will not guarantee admission. The candidates will be more eligible for admission if they meet the cutoff.

Each of the WBJEE participating institutes releases separate cut-off marks for the courses offered through the joint entrance examination. WBJEE cut-off comprises a category-wise list of minimum scores and opening-closing ranks. The cutoff marks may vary for each of the categories and the offered courses.

Q:   Will WBJEE result and rank card be different?
A:

No, the rank card and result of WBJEE 2025 will not be different. The WBJEE result will be declared in the form of rank cards. To download, candidates will have to log in at the official website using the required credentials. Once the candidates check their obtained scores and ranks in the WBJEE 2025 result, they will be able to download it in the form of rank card. It is to be noted that the rank card is an extremely important documents so the candidates will have to possess it until the end of the admission process. In case of any mistakes in the rank card, the authorities have to be immediately informed.

Q:   Can I re-evaluate WBJEE result?
A:

No, the authorities do not provide any facility to the candidates to re-evaluate their WBJEE result. The allotment of ranks is done as per the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination. In case there is a mistake in the information provided in the result, then the candidates can contact the authorities. However, the authorities will not accept requests for corrections in the allotted marks or ranks.

Q:   Can I download the WBJEE result?
A:

Yes, the candidates will be able to download the WBJEE result. After logging in using the required credentials, the candidates will be able to check their obtained scores and ranks in the entrance examination. The result will be downloadable in the form of WBJEE rank card. Candidates have to download and print out the rank card for future use in the admission process.

Q:   Will I receive WBJEE result offline?
A:

No, The authorities will release the WBJEE result online. No other mode will be used to release the WBJEE result/rank card. Candidates will be required to log in online using their application number and date of birth to access the result or rank card of WBJEE 2025. Since the rank card will be required during the WBJEE counselling process, the candidates are advised to keep it safe until the end of the admissions. A print out of the rank card has to be taken as soon as it is released online.

Q:   Will the ranks be announced through the WBJEE result?
A:

Yes, the candidates will be able to check their allotted ranks through the WBJEE result. Based on their performance in the entrance examination, the ranks will be allotted to the candidates. Candidates can check their allotted ranks and download their result in the form of WBJEE rank card. Since the rank card is required during the admission process, the candidates are advised to take a print out.

You might be able to get admission to Techno International Batanagar's B.E.-B.Tech course without WBJEE, but it's best to check with the college directly. They might consider other entrance exams or have management quotas.
