WBJEE 2026 Cutoff
WBJEEB prepares WBJEE cutoff to select eligible students for admissions into participating institutes. Opening and closing ranks for admissions are released through round-wise WBJEE cutoff. However, students are not guaranteed admission if they meet cutoff, since other factors will also be considered. If they meet cutoff, they will have higher chances of admission during WBJEE counselling. While preparing cutoff, authorities will consider different factors such as previous years' trends, exam difficulty level, number of candidates and more. WBJEE College Predictor
WBJEE rank cards carry details like the student's total score and rank. With the help of WBJEE ranks, they can predict the college they might bag a seat in, based on the obtained rank. Shiksha presents WBJEE college predictors, which will help students get an idea about the chances of admission to their preferred college.
Shiksha’s WBJEE College Predictor uses last year’s WBJEE counselling data to predict the college based on the obtained rank. As soon as WBJEE results are announced, they can use the WBJEE college predictor to understand the algorithms and their functioning.
WBJEE 2026 result date has not been announced yet. Students can check their scores and ranks through result. Authorities will not individually inform students about result. The link will be available online at official website.
The students will be able to know their total and paper-wise scores through the WBJEE result. The rank obtained in the exam and qualifying status will also be available in the result. Along with the exam scores and ranks, the WBJEE application number, roll number, etc., will also be present.
WBJEE Counselling 2026 Process
WBJEE 2026 counselling will be held online. Students will have to register for counselling and fill choice of colleges and courses in order of preference. WBJEE 2026 counselling fee also has to be paid. Seat allotment result will be announced online. Allotment of seats will be done based on rank and preferences. Once allotted, they will have to confirm their admission by paying seat acceptance fee, verifying their documents and tuition fee payment.

If the students have any grievance about their WBJEE score, then they can raise a query through email to information [at]wbjeeb.nic.in. The grievances have to be submitted within 24 hours of the result declaration. Along with the grievance, the students will also have to attach copies of their OMR, rank card, question booklet number and its series code along with the question wise calculation of the score.
WBJEE result will not be sent through post or email. Students will have to log in with their roll number and password to check and download WBJEE result. They can download result in form of a rank card.
WBJEEB will announce WBJEE 2026 toppers. Highest scoring students will be given top ranks in WBJEE 2026. In previous year, Aniruddha Chakrabarti secured first rank in WBJEE, followed by Samyajyoti Biswas and Dishaanth Basu in second and third rank. List of the top 10 rankers in WBJEE 2026 will be released by authorities.
