AIIMS Delhi MD Eligibility & Highlights 2025
AIIMS Delhi offers full-time MD in various specialisations at the PG level. Candidates applying to MD must have completed 12 months of compulsory rotating Internship/ Practical training on or before July 30 of the year of admission.
Eligibility criteria: Candidate must hold MBBS degree of a university recognised by Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India with 55% aggregate marks in case of General & OBC and 50% aggregate marks in case of SC/ ST category

Yes, AIIMS does offer admission to NRI students. However, there is no seat reserved for them. Seats are available across every course offered at AIIMS Delhi and the requirement for admission across all courses is also similar to that of domestic students applying for the course.
- MBBS: There is no seat reserved for OCI and NRI candidates. Foreign candidates must have atleast 60% aggregate with PCB and English in Class 12 or equivalent.
- MSc: The eligibility criteria for the foreign candidates will be at par with the eligibility criteria for Indian candidates.
- MD/ MS/ MCh/ DM: A combined merit list of the sponsored/ foreign candidates is made. Seats are allotted purely on merit on the basis of performance in the entrance test

NO, AIIMS Delhi does not use NEET score for BSc Nursing admission. It conducts its own separate entrance exam for paramedical admission. The exam is conducted twice a year. It is usually conducted in May and Nov. Students need to prepare for this exam and not for NEET only.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar is ranked 17th by NIRF, which makes it very competitive, though the cut-off is usually a shade lower than AIIMS Delhi. You still need a strong NEET UG rank to get in. No, AIIMS Delhi does not provide lateral entry for MBBS course. Students need to complete five-year course to get a degree. Students cannot apply through Diploma or other bachelor's degree. To get admission, students need to apply through NEET exam after completing Class 12.
