Review of Alpha Arts and Science College, Chennai.

Placements: Around 95% of students got placed on campus. The highest package offered is 10 LPA. Wipro, TCL, Apollo, L&T, etc., come here. Many students got internships such as IT companies and private banks come here. Web development, app developer, etc., roles are offered. ISM is a mixture of commerce and IT and management, so all the subjects are included. That's why I chose this course.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, canteen, library, and stationery facilities are available. The quality of facilities is good.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly educated, and the course is relevant. The course makes students industry-ready. The syllabus is easy. The pass percentage is good.

Other: All the events are held in our college.

Alpha Arts and Science College is a private institute located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Placements: Almost 80 percent of students got placed in the B.Com ISM course over the last 2 years. The highest package is 3.5 LPA and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Many students are working in internships, both paid and unpaid. Some of the companies include PMSBazzar and Magic Bus. BPO roles are in this course.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not up to date and is worse than my old school. Wi-Fi and labs are good compared to the classrooms. The library is okay. Food is good. Sports and games are given extra guidance and support. Medical facilities are basic, a kit bag and that's all.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful with our doubts. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy, and the pass percentage is about 40 percent. Students can get exposure from extracurricular activities.

Other: I chose this course because it has an additional course called ISM – Information Systems Management. So I can study coding for IT-related jobs. The IT-based courses include Python, C++, SPSS, Tally, Java, and HTML. Extracurricular activities are good, depending on how active you are in them. Improvement is needed in the infrastructure and quality.
