Yes, SNU Chennai BCom admissions are highly competitive. Since there are only 60 seats on offer for both BCom (General) and BCom (Professional Accounting), respectively. The admission process happens in multiple rounds so that the faculty can analyse and scrutinize the best candidates for the course.

In addition to that SNU Chennai also offers 10 scholarships for Class 12 rank holders of any State or Central Board, sports scholarships for candidates who have participated in National and International level competitions and merit-cum-means scholarships for candidates with a family income of less than INR 3 lakhs or below.

Class 12 in Commerce stream with Mathematics/ Business Mathematics, Commerce & Accountancy as mandatory subjects is the basic eligibility for BCom at SNU Chennai. Candidates with Arts/ Science stream can also apply for the programme. 

The total fee of the three-year B.Com course offered at SNU Chennai is INR 7.5 Lacs, which includes the tuition fee for all academic years.
