When you join the college, don't be an introvert, as it won't take you anywhere.

Placements: B.Com general has three sections and each section has 73 students. The lowest package at the college is Rs.6,000, while the highest package at the evening college is Rs.76,000. Big Four companies, Infosys, Ford, TCS, and more recruit from the college. Most students get internships from these companies, with some getting internships at Deloitte for accounting roles.

Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi facilities on campus. Classrooms are very modern as they use smart boards and projectors to take classes. The library has many books, both fictional and non-fictional. Fiction is my favorite. I always read books from my college library.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. Most of them have a Ph.D. This course is very helpful for students who want to start their career in the accounting field. The semester exams are not that tough. They are quite easy. The pass percentage for the exam is just 40 out of 100.

Absolutely satisfied with my college.

Placements: There are excellent placements in our college. In my stream, a total of 20–30 people got placed. The highest package is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA, which was offered to us. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte, EY, Barclays, and HP. In my course, everyone did internships on their own. The top roles offered to us were risk analyst, finance analyst, manager, etc.

Infrastructure: They've got a library, labs, classrooms, projectors, Wi-Fi connections, canteens, etc. I was a day scholar but I know a little bit about the hostels. The food was moderate and also a mess for the hostels. The college has medical facilities like a first-aid and sick room and one doctor will be there. They prioritize sports and games for the students and encourage them to participate in them.

Faculty: Yes, some faculty will be helpful and qualified. Expert faculty are also working there. The teaching methods and quality of teaching were good. Basically, this college is autonomous. The semester exams will be quite tough for the students but each and every student can get pass marks for sure and the pass percentage is 40–60%.

Other: So there's not a specific reason to choose this course, as I want to learn about the economic situation of commercial things so I chose this course. The best thing about my course is that we can learn how to make budgets and pay taxes. I want to improve the syllabus in advance because, after college, I want to enter my profession. When I saw the books, everything was advanced so the upcoming generation should learn the basics in advance. They will organize events, fests, sports, etc. The crowd connectivity is good because you can make connections with everyone. They also provide scholarships for people who can't afford to pay.

Placements: In our college, 35-40% of students get placements in B.Com. The college placements cell was actively working for recruitments. The average package offered in our college was between 3-5 LPA. Top recruiters were from the banking sector. Top roles offered were accountant, finance, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college was good. College was having high-speed Wi-Fi, labs, library, etc. for the students. All the facilities were given to the students equally. Hostel of our college was having all the necessary facilities. College hostel mess and canteen were offering good quality food.

Faculty: Professors of our college were qualified and knowledgeable. All the teachers were supportive and helpful to the college students. Course curriculum followed in our course was relevant. Exams in our college were of medium difficulty. College exams were conducted on a semester basis.

It was amazing 3 or 5 years at Ethiraj College.

Placements: This college is known for its excellent placements. They have a separate dedicated team for recruitment. We have top IT and corporate companies as recruiters and our faculty members will be with you throughout your college life. They provide a lot of career development training programs and skill development courses. They provide training for government exams also. We have MIOU signed with top professionals. You can also earn by selling your handmade products and eatables on campus. They will offer enormous opportunities for you to shine in your life both morally and financially. The only thing you've to do is grab those opportunities and make use of it.

Infrastructure: Our college hostel is a home away from home. We have a medical room. Our college has produced a lot of real talents like international and state sportswomen. We have two canteens which provide great quality food in great quantity. Free Wi-Fi is enabled on campus. There are no words to describe about our library. We have very big classrooms with good ventilation. We have restrooms on every floor. You can enjoy your teenage in our Ethiraj College.

Faculty: Faculty members of Ethiraj are like our own mothers. They guide you and care for you in every possible way. The curriculum is choice-credit-based. You've to earn credits to get your degree certificate which is like points. You'll have two internal components (tests) for 40 marks and for 10 marks, you will have assignments, attendance, class participation, seminar, etc. The pass marks are 50 marks for the final exams. Your final papers will be evaluated by two or three teachers. It gives you external marks.

Other: We have a lot of clubs in our college, like NSS, NCC, YRC, RRC, CSR, E-CELL, financial literacy club, etc. Many clubs are under the student unions like Ethiraj Kuthu Pattarai, etc. These clubs will give you mandatory and additional credits. We've 3 cultural events, Arambh which is exclusively for the first-year students, Mathiri which is for 2 days, and for the second and third years. Shristi is for 3 days and it's an intercollegiate event. Apart from this, there will be departmental annual association events and clubs' annual cultural events. So, there won't be a single day when the auditorium is empty.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. The food served in the hostel is not good. The hostel students complain about the quality of the food. Many fans are not working properly in the hostel. The food served in the canteen is average.

Faculty: The course curriculum is good and knowledgeable. Semester exams are moderate. They are difficult enough to test our memory power and learning capacity. Internal exam marks are not rewarded properly. Our teachers don't offer marks. They want us to study more for the semester.
