I recommend this college for good placements and learning.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Just Pay, TCS, Sake Technology, and So on. Almost 60% of students got internships from this course. Top roles offered are software developer, data scientist, and Java developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided are top-notch and include Wi-Fi of high speed. Labs are highly recommended. Classrooms are well furnished. We can find the library in a very updated state which includes journals. In the hostel, the food quality is good. We have 24/7 medical facilities. Grounds are used for sports.
Faculty: In this college, we have qualified faculty members. Teachers are very helpful in clearing the doubts. Their way of teaching is helpful for students to understand the topics very clearly. This course prepares students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult. Almost 90% of the students would pass the exams.
Other: I chose this course because it is helpful for the future. The best thing about this course is we can learn the topics practically. In this college, they conduct various events like sports, dance, and others.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements, management and their culture.
Placements: Regarding placements, in our batch in CSE, we had hardly 30% placements, including off campus, where students attended on their own. And compared to other branches, CSE is the least likely to get placed this time. Some companies blacklist Alva's, such as Jeugos Studios, Infosys, and Wipro. Most of them are placed in small-scale companies. Only 8 people got placed in the large-scale company from the CSE branch. Yes, regarding placements, I do not recommend students. It's better to join Sahyadri or MITE in Mangalore. Placement training will be given by charging 15000, which is of no use.
Infrastructure: Hostel wardens are good, and facilities such as gym, sports, etc. In any kind of emergency, 24-hour vans are available, but you must pay the amount. Never choose Alva's, even by mistake; you won't get placed, and most of the banners about placement you see are scams; not even 50% got placed.
Faculty: Experienced faculty members have already left the college for some reason. Faculty members of the Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry Departments are highly skilled and qualified. The rest, if the faculty members do nothing during class hours, just come, read PPT and share notes in the classroom. The student-faculty relationship is poor. Faculty members most of the time tried to detain students by not signing No Dues because management supported them, as if they resigned from their jobs, the college wouldn't have any faculty members. But it was not a good experience in college.
Other: Events, fests or any programme are not organized. You cannot have this in Alva's. It's been 4 years, and not even a single event has made us enjoy being on campus. We go to other college to enjoy college life events by paying. This time, seniors planned a freshers party but management cancelled it. If you want academics and enjoyment, never join this college. Everything is a scam. I advise you not to join Alva's. Pay the same fees to other colleges and get a good job with a good salary. Stay Happy.

Satisfied with placemeand infraand also faculty members are good enough to help us .
Placements: Our senior batch students almost 80 percentage of students were placed
the highest package was about 21LPA and the lowest was about 3.5 LPA
Top companies like Accenture, cognizant, and also many other companies
Job role offered is software developed backed developed .
Infrastructure: Yes college infrastis good and faciliare too good and also they provide companspecifoc training. Library also good there is digital library group discussion rooms etc.
When comes to hostel yes hostel rooms and maintenance is also the best and mess food is also good.
Faculty: There is no difficult like exams if you study you can easily score good marks
Almost all are qualified Ph.D. and course are good and they also involve some softskills which help students to get corporate knowledge and there will be aptitude period which helps us to crack company assessment.
Other: There are many fest organised in our college like famous nudisiri, cultural day, technical hackthons etc.

Great college, but bad hostel management.
Placements: Almost 60% students get placed. The highest package is 21LPA, the average is around 4LPA and the lowest is 3.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are SAP, Hashedin, Juspay, NetMeds etc. Around 10% get internships in companies like Odessa, Juspay, Hashedin, GainInsights etc. Top roles are Trainee Software Engineer, Associate Software Engineer, C+ Develeoper, MERN Stack Developer etc.
Infrastructure: All the facilities like Wi-FI, Labs, Classrooms and Library are top-notch but the campus as a whole is very small. Hostel facilities are bad. Food is sometimes good and sometimes too bad. Outings are not allowed except Sundays. Highly recommended to stay in PGs if you find any nearby.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but strict. Attendance is mandatory. Course curriculum is according to VTU which is irrelevant and it do not make the students industry ready. Semester exams are fairly difficult, with a pass percentage of 35.

I recommend this college.
Placements: Every year, the placements are increasing exponentially. In 2021, it was said that the placement rate was 100%. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the average package is 12 LPA. Most of the top recruiting companies are E&Y, Amazon, L&T, Infosys, and TCS. Every student gets a good internship based on their interest in learning and developing skills.
Infrastructure: The faculty members are good and helpful. The infrastructure for every course in this college is good. Labs are in good condition, and the classrooms have projectors, and two students can sit on each bench. The library has a good infrastructure, with all the books required for the course till the end of the semester and competitive books and many journals. It also has computers.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful for students in understanding the subject. The main objective is to sharpen the students with industrial ideas and uses of emerging tech. Although semester exams are done by the VTU, we can't predict the difficulty level, but before the semester exam, the students will be prepared for the worse case by preparing hard with the help of teachers.
Other: Nowadays, new technologies are emerging in every corner of the world. I chose computer science and engineering because the world depends on it, and there is no place without computers. I would suggest the improvement in some of the skills, such as ethical hacking. Events are held 4-5 times a year to connect with the outside environment as well as the students of higher semester.
