Engineering excellence at St. Joseph Engineering College.

Placements: Every year, the placements in our department are decreasing as a lot of students are competing to get jobs in the Computer Science field. The highest placement package offered is 24 LPA and total recruiters are 79. The total packaged offered are above 680.I am currently studying in the second year, that is why I haven't applied for placements yet.

Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities available in our college such as a huge library with all books that the students need for their course including some general knowledge books as well. There is also a hostel facility for the students who are from far away and a canteen and cafeteria for all the students. The labs and classrooms are all equipped with modern technology.

Faculty: The semester exams are pretty easy. But the internals are hard to cope with as we have to write two exams in a day for a stretch of three days. This makes it hard for the students to study one subject with full concentration and finish the syllabus. The syllabus is efficient and relevant for the course.

Other: The college has a beautiful campus and the teaching and non-teaching faculty members are also very friendly and welcoming.

SJEC was a fantastic experience for me.

Placements: There is 100% placement at SJC every time, and the average package offered is INR 7 LPA. Recruiting companies include IBM, Cognizant, and many others. 90% of the students will surely get an internship opportunity. At the end of the 2nd semester, the college will provide summer internships for students, and at the end of the 4th semester, you will have the opportunity to work for companies as an intern.

Infrastructure: There is a vast library that consists of books and other useful materials. Good classrooms, labs, and infrastructure are there. The hostel facility is also good; there are AC and non-AC rooms with variation in the feel. Sjec also has a dispensary and a doctor. There is a canteen facility and many more.

Faculty: Friendly lecturers who are also available whenever we need them. The evaluation is good. All the topics get covered before the exams, and the semester exams have been easy till date. You will get enough time to prepare for your exams, and sufficient materials are also provided by the college.

Other: I liked computer science during my 11th and 12th years, so I decided to study engineering in my further studies. I wish there was more practicality than theory. There were many events and fests in Sjec, like Tiara Milan and many more. Every year, Sjec provides scholarships, has many associations, a vast campus, and many extracurricular activities.
