Review of vidya vikas institute of engineering and technology.
Placements: There are no placements for computer science students here. For other branches, 2 to 3 companies will come with a maximum package of 3 to 4 LPA. The university provides an internship for every student in the final year under the NSDC internship, which provides five certificates at the end of the course.
Infrastructure: Talking about facilities and infrastructure, there are no special facilities available in this college. Wi-Fi is not available for students, and labs are okay to work. In classrooms, there is only one smart board for each department. There is no canteen here, and hostel fees are high but strict.
Faculty: All faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant, but it does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too tough to attend and pass. If you read three modules correctly, you can pass easily. The passing mark for 100 is 35.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in computer science. The best thing about the course is that it will always be in trend. Talking about events and fests, only one fest happens once a year. There are no cafes or restaurants near the college. Scholarships are available for students from time to time. No extracurricular activities are encouraged here.

Overall, the college is great.
Placements: Above 75% of students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered is 4 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, L&T, HP, and Dell visit our college to hire students from our course. About 50% of students from our course got an internship in the above-mentioned companies. For whatever the students are interested in, they are free to have it.
Infrastructure: The food we get is 100 times better than the outside food. We get good quality of meal every day. I do not know about the hostel. My friends who stayed in the hostel are satisfied with the infrastructure of the college hostel.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are kind to everybody, and they did not differentiate any of the children. They provided study materials after every chapter, which helped us very well. Semester exams are a little difficult. Our college provides the best faculty members. They support in every situation that may be college-related or other.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am passionate about computer science and want to become a good software developer.

Review of Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology - VVIET.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Students who scored more than 6 CGPA in academics got placed. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Many students got placed in good companies with a good salary package of 4 LPA. Placement head provides good training to get placed in the companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and the environment of the college is excellent to study. The library consists of all books relevant to the course and which are described by the university. Labs are good and well-equipped. Wi-Fi facility is available in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very helpful. They help us to understand the concept very well. The computer science branch faculty members are very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Their teaching quality is good.
Other: Many extracurricular activities, like coding, quiz, etc., are conducted so the students can participate in it and understand many things.

The college has very good placements, faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. About 75% of the students got placed. The highest package offered is 5 LPA. A few of the companies that visited our campus are Infosys, Emphasis, Tricon, First American, SLK Software etc. Students were offered system engineer and other good roles. All the students have done internships. There is a placement cell in our college, and it is very helpful for us. They helped us by providing better placement training.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is really good. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs are well-equipped. Classrooms have projectors. The library has many facilities and all the required books along with many technical magazines and journals. We get access to IEEE and other papers. Good quality food is available in the canteen. The hostel inside the campus is really good.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are qualified and helpful. Few of the faculty members have done their PhD, and many are pursuing. They are very knowledgeable. Faculty members help us with new technologies and also help us in publishing papers. Teaching methods include classroom teaching, powerpoint presentation, blended learning, seminars etc. We get industry exposure through industrial visits.
Other: The college fest is conducted every year. Students from other colleges also come to attend the fest. Many extracurricular activities, fun activities and technical events are also conducted.

It is a good college for good studies, and the environment at the college is good.
Placements: The placement rate of college is increasing over the past three years. Placement training is given to students when they are in the final year. Our super seniors were placed in many reputed companies. Our seniors got more opportunities to face interviews. Placements in the college are good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is wonderful. There are 10 to 15 labs, and all the systems are enabled with internet access. Our college provides library facilities, and we can even access international journals through e-library. Everyone can go to the library and read newspapers. Sports activities are organised throughout the year.
Faculty: All the HODs are PhD holders, and all the lecturers are student-friendly. They encourage all the students to do work. They motivate weak students to overcome their weakness. They complete the syllabus within their deadline. All the students are able to understand the topics that lecturers teach.
Other: Our college fest is awesome. The college has a student council named Vistara. Events are conducted throughout the year.

The campus environment is good for students.
Placements: The college is improving every year concerning placements. Placements for our super senior batch were good. But our seniors got more opportunities comparatively. Placement training is provided to students in their final year. You will find the best opportunities in this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is awesome. All the systems have internet connectivity. A library is provided, and you can get access to any journal in the library. Sports facilities are also provided. Handball and volleyball teams are excellently participating in competitions.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are encouraging, and they guide students to achieve their goals. They motivate the weak students to do better in exams. Subjects are taught to the best, and the faculty members make sure that the concepts are clear for every student.
Other: The college conducts events throughout the year. The college fest is fabulous.

There were better placements in 2017 and 2018.
Placements: The college does not guarantee 100% placements. Almost 80% of our seniors got placed. Individual talents and hard work of the students play a major role in placements. The college doesn't provide aptitude training except for the fact that some departments conduct aptitude tests occasionally. Pool campus placements are also available. Placements for our seniors batch were better than the previous batch.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure of the college is good. Library facilities, sports, curricular activities, labs and classrooms are good. But Wi-Fi facility is not provided to every student here. The college canteen provides good food. Transportation facility is not worth the money we pay, but there have been recent changes to improve transportation.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Quality of teaching is good, and teaching methods include theoretical and paper presentations with seminars. Faculty to student ratio in the CSE department is good, and industry exposure is quite less. We gained less practical knowledge.
Other: Events are held every year in our college, and they are very different every year. Events are the best part of our college. The campus is in the outskirts of Mysore but quite reachable from the city. The college also provides scholarships to eligible students.

A review of Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placements in our institute are excellent. We get many good MNCs for placements, and most of my seniors are getting placed. This year, the best salary package offered till now is 4 LPA for a computer science department student. Moreover, we have many budding entrepreneurs and established startups. We will have regular placement training in both programming and aptitude. We have skill development programmes, industry-institute interaction centre, and faculty with industry background. We have tie-ups with many companies. Google company has its only student representatives in our college for the region. We have many employment initiatives in our CSE and ISE departments.
Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled along with good bandwidth, and it is helpful for many projects works. We have more than 15 computer labs and more than 500 computer systems. We have good instructors to guide us. We have 3 seminar halls. We have an excellent auditorium which is hi-tech and has a seating capacity of more than 450 people. It also has an excellent sound system with the provision of a control room and green room. This facility will not be available anywhere in the city. Teachers carry laptops to classrooms and teach using projectors which is very helpful.
Faculty: We have excellent and student-friendly faculty members. We have regular proctor meeting. Many of our faculty members are PhD holders. Especially CSE and ISE faculty members are good and the best in the college. Our HOD is good and encourages all initiatives. Faculty members are experts in subjects and on an average, have 10 years experience. We have the best teaching standards, and we are getting its advantage. The faculty to student ratio is 1:15 which is good. Many of our faculty members have a good grip on English, and they are from IT background. We have teachers who worked in good positions in various industries and consultancies. We get regular updates on industry standards. We follow the best practices which give us the best exposure.
Other: The CSE department organises many technical and cultural events. Most of the college fest MCs will be from CSE and ISE. We had Google MDF programme recently which was a highly successful event. Many team members of Google, USA visited. We have many speakers from good companies like Oracle. We have Infosys Campus Connect programme. Many of our students represented the institute in national level events on app building. We will get encouragement for all activities. Many famous movie stars are our alumni.
