Great Infrastructure and Great faculty members.
Placements: The students used to get placements in ISRO, HAL, SIFL and Autokast, etc. People who got placed are majorly in steel manufacturing company and people will get jobs abroad as QA/QC. Usually people opt for higher studies instead of Jobs. The package depends upon the Job which students apply.
Infrastructure: The Amal Jyothi College of Engineering has the largest infrastructure in Kerala among the Engineering colleges in Kerala. The colleges provide accommodation for around 2000 students including both Boys and Girls hostel. The college provides a great library for their students.
Faculty: The teachers are the best when it comes to the Department of Metallurgy and materials Science. Most of the faculty members are retired scientist and rest faculty members comes with great industrial experience. The course and the curriculum contains the most relevant topics which make the students industrial ready.

My experience of 4 years is really memorable.
Placements: We are the primary bunch of metallurgists from Kerala, so constraints were there for the core situations and all. Be that as it may, better results were obtained amid GATE 2016. One got set in BARC with a stipend of 24,000 and 2 students got the internship with a stipend of 15,000 each. The rest 30% students went for higher studies including me.
Infrastructure: Amal Jyothi is well known for the infrastructure. Wi-Fi, classrooms, library etc which are top-class. In my personal opinion, the infrastructure and facilities provide by this college are the best in the whole of Kerala no doubt. The laboratories are well-equipped with all modern and sophisticated equipment, which meet the needs of the undergraduate students and researchers from various fields. It also has well-qualified technical expertise from the industrial and academic backgrounds. The various labs comprehend the entire imperative aspects of metallurgical and materials engineering, which are metallography, heat treatment, process metallurgy, welding metallurgy, metal forming, non-destructive testing and so on.
Faculty: Essentially for our subject, it is hard to get a dedicated metallurgy faculty team, so the mechanical faculty members regularly take our lectures. The profound profundity of the subject is thus less. The faculty members are excessively useful and helpful. The few metallurgy faculty members have expertise in physical, mechanical and welding metallurgy here. With the experimental facilities available with us, the students and faculty members are encouraged for quality and innovation in their research activities in ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, composite materials, consultancy, failure analysis etc.
