Good placements, supportive faculty, and excellent campus life.
Placements: At Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, around 75-80 percent of students got placed in reputed companies. The highest package is about 12 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA and the average is 4 LPA-5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, UST Global, and Bosch. Nearly 60 percent of students secured internships in companies like TCS, Infosys, Bosch, and startups, with roles such as software engineer, data analyst, and developer being the most offered.
Infrastructure: Amal Jyothi College of Engineering provides well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a rich library that support academic needs. The hostel facilities are good with clean rooms, study areas, and 24/7 Wi-Fi. The mess and canteen serve decent food with multiple options, and there are medical facilities with doctors on call. The campus also offers excellent sports grounds, indoor games, and gym facilities, making both academics and campus life well-balanced.
Faculty: The faculty at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering is well-qualified, supportive, and approachable, with good teaching quality and guidance. The curriculum is updated and industry-relevant, helping students build technical and soft skills. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with proper preparation, and the pass percentage is usually high, as the college provides strong academic support.
Other: I chose my course at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering because of its strong reputation, experienced faculty, and excellent placement support. The best part of the course is the practical exposure through labs, projects, and internships, which makes students industry-ready. I wish there could be more core company placements and updated elective options. The campus has a vibrant crowd with active fests, technical events, and cultural programs, along with good scholarship opportunities and extracurricular activities. The location is well-connected, and the green surroundings make the campus lively and student-friendly.

It is a very good college.
Placements: Around 40% of students got placed, and most opportunities are from IT industry. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top roles offered in our course are web developer, software engineer, and project lead.
Infrastructure: Our college offers good facilities and the infrastructure is also very good. Our college is one of the best among any college in Kerala. Hostel is good, with a canteen which serves best dishes. We have a lot of sports activities like football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and some indoor games. There are many prizes for those who participate in inter-college competitions.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and helpful. They try their best to encourage students who don't score good marks. Semester exams are conducted by the university, so exams are a bit tough. Pass percentage is about 60%-70%. The course curriculum is not very relevant, as we are studying a lot of unwanted subjects that are not of use for pursuing a specific career.
Other: I chose this course because my ambition is to become a software engineer and the course is helping me to achieve it. Many extracurricular activities are conducted in our college.

Review of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering.
Placements: Our class has 70 seats, all of which were filled first, but 2 students left to pursue other interests. Recruiting companies are SOTI, Safran, UST, Cognizant, etc. Some students also secured internship opportunities, while some students secured internships in their last semester without coming to college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is good. We can't find a better infrastructure in KTU-based colleges. Wi-Fi is available with good speed, but due to increasing loads, speed decreases. Classrooms are also very well equipped with LED TV screens and projectors. Labs are good.
Faculty: Faculty members in IT department are very helpful, supportive, and friendly. They offer their help in any way they can. The course curriculum is not bad for IT branch since we study most technologies.

This college's education is worthwhile if you are willing to put in the effort.
Placements: Only 30 percent of my batchmates were placed
INR 5 lacs was the highest given package, and INR 2 lacs and INR 3 lacs were the lowest and average given packages.
Top recruitment companies include TCS, Federal Bank, and small and medium startups.
Most of the students got paid and unpaid internships at companies like TCS, mainly in startups.
The top jobs offered in my course are junior software engineer, app developer, full-stack developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus has a great ambience since it is far from the city area.
Classrooms are comfy and promote a great lecture experience.
There are more than sufficient computer systems in labs.
Students have unlimited Wi-Fi access on the college campus and hostel.
At least 10 copies of all textbooks mentioned in the syllabus are present in the library.
There are plenty of other books for research purposes.
There are computer systems in the library for students who do not own a system.
One downside of the library is that it is not open 24 hours a day.
There is a superb canteen, which is better than most of the restaurants in city areas.
Other facilities include basketball courts, a SBI bank branch, 2 ATMs, a stationary shop, and a photostat shop.
The hostel is also managed, and the cleanliness deserves a 5-star rating in the hostel mess.
Hostel food is prepared with a perfect, healthy, balanced diet in mind.
There are basketball and badminton courts for leisure purposes.
There are two nearby hospitals for medical purposes, and transportation is provided by the college in case of emergencies.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were very good.
They are very cooperative and well qualified.
The course is curriculum-relevant, but I don't think this course only makes the students industry-ready.
One needs to do other specification courses and internships outside the campus to be industry-relevant.
Semester exams are okay, but a pass percentage of 40 is a bit high.
The pass percentage should have been 35 instead of 40.

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering.
Placements: For CS and IT nearly 100% placement for those who require. TCS, Infosys, Banks we're the largest recruiters. Does the salary package usually start at Rs 25000 during the training period at Infosys. There is also a promotion for setting up startups and an incubator is available.
Infrastructure: Full high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout campus. Labs are well maintained and have required faculty members and equipment. The canteen has pretty good food. Sports grounds for various sports are available. The library is pretty nice and has a good collection of academic books.
Faculty: Teaching is good, feedback is collected regularly and changes are made according to that. Amal Jyothi follows the curriculum set by Kerala Technical University, which is sort of outdated, to be honest. But the college puts more effort and various branches conduct extra training programs and internships.

Placements: The placements are going very well in college. In every batch, 90% of students got placed in a year. TCS, Wipro are major companies coming for placements. Commendable infrastructure but needs to focus on all round development of the students.
Placements: The placements for our batch were comparatively good. Most of the students of information technology were placed. The highest salary offered was 4 LPA and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. The major recruiters were TCS, Tech Mahindra, IBS, Suntech and the major role offered was software developer.
As, the placement only happened for selected departments so no accurate percentage can be told. On the whole, 50% of the students were placed. Internships were not given much importance as the university norms does not specify it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was really good which was one of the motivating factors for most of us to join the college. The Wi-Fi in the campus was less useful as the limit for browsing was less and most of the time, the websites were blocked. The library was good with a goof collection of books. The medical facilities in the college premises was poor as well. Less importance was given to sports and cultural academics was more focused. The quality of classrooms was good as each classroom had projectors installed in it but lacks enough plug points. The food in the canteen was comparatively good. We did not face any sort of infrastructure issues. The hostel rooms were of average standard.
Faculty: The faculty members in the college were good and they were all knowledgeable and qualified with good teaching experience. The teaching method used were textbooks, assignments and 60% of the course was completed by power point presentations. The student to faculty ratio was 40 students per teacher. There were 2 industrial visits conducted during our course. The syllabus needs to be updated.
Other: The college was one among the biggest private engineering colleges. It had a variety of courses in comparison to other engineering colleges. The attendance was a compulsory factor without which the hall tickets will be blocked. The hostel facility was very basic which causes most of the students to shift to the nearby PGs.
