Amal Jyothi the green world campus.
Placements: Placements will depend upon your individual skills and performing in the interviews and they are conducting many mock interviews to get the students fully prepared for the companies approaching them. Many Multi national companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM etc. Are hiring.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and campus is outstanding it is a full clean and a green campus. An idea lab is there for students and there is also a start up valley for new startups do we can plan s startup there itself. Hostel and the facilities given by them is great and all the faculty members are friendly.
Faculty: All the teachers are well trained and they all are professionals. The teachers are also very supportive to each and every thing that if them seem it is good for us. They are providing internships un our campus itself so we don't need to go outside for internships.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: We didn't have any placement. So, we had to search jobs on our own. Many students from my class went abroad and did Masters. I think almost everyone from my batch is working somewhere. Most of them aren't working as mechanical engineers. For IT, CS and EC Ajce is good. But for mechanical and civil engineering I would say it's better to not go there as they don't provide any placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities were of the highest quality. We didn't have Wi-Fi. The hostel food wasn't very delicious so I used to eat a lot from the college canteen and the food over there was very cheap and tasty. There were two basketball courts and a ground for football and cricket. I'm a person who loves to play outdoor games. So I used to play basketball almost everyday. And special thanks to my classmates for organising a mini Marathon (7km run). That was my first long distance run.
Faculty: The tutors were quite helpful. The course is not job oriented. So it wouldn't make the students industry ready. I think the course should be made more job oriented. We have studied a lot of unnecessary topics which could have been avoided. So instead of these unnecessary topics more focus should be given to industry related topics.
Other: I chose this course as I was interested in studying Mechanical engineering. Like I said before the course should be more job oriented and I feel sports should be given more importance.

The exterior of our college looks good, but the interior, classrooms and college life are average.
Placements: Placements are conducted mainly for CS, IT and ECE branches, and only a few companies visited for mechanical and other engineering departments. Most of the students are not ready to accept the jobs offered, as the salary is low. Most of the students have other plans after studies, like higher studies, going abroad, preparing for competitive exams etc.
Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructure. Wi-Fi facility is available. Labs are well-equipped. The library is good. Computer labs are nice. Classrooms are average. Only the first-year classrooms have good desks and chairs. The exterior is beautiful, but the interior is average. Some of the classrooms are below average without tiles. There is no air-conditioning facilities in some classrooms. In summers, it gets quite difficult. Fans are available but are not efficient. Some of the classrooms are too bright with no curtains. The canteen is good and has enough space. The research block is good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified, helpful and have knowledge about subjects. However, some are not much great. Teaching quality is acceptable. Most of the teachers use PPTs and students are expected to make notes. Some teachers are like in schools, and they make sure that the students are writing notes properly, which feels awkward at this age. Each class has 50-60 students. The faculty to student ratio is about 1:15. Some professors are rude and consider some students as in LP school, but there are few good professors.
Other: The college organises very few events. Intra-college fest organised here was below average. Schools celebrate their annual days in a better way. The campus crowd is good. Wi-Fi is available, but social media sites are blocked. Surroundings are neat and clean. Only a few scholarships are provided. Extracurricular activities were average.

The review of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering - AJCE.
Placements: The college offers decent placement opportunities for the mechanical engineering department. Around 30 % of the students got placed through campus placed from 2018 batch. Companies such as Royal Enfield, Tata, Oyo, and Byjus, etc., visited the campus for placements. Reputed organisations like Indian Navy have also visited the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The college provides extraordinary infrastructural facilities to students. The campus is eco-friendly. The college also has smart classrooms, and the labs are well-equipped. The canteen is acclaimed internationally for its cleanliness and quality of food. Our college also has a huge playground and 2 basketball courts.
Faculty: The main strength of the college is its faculty. The team of faculty with excellent qualifications and teaching skills makes the process of teaching and studying more easier. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. The curriculum was very much useful for students as well as teachers.

Very strict management but good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Currently, mechanical students have fewer campus placements. So only a few people are being placed in the recent years. Approximately 5% students get placement offers while they are studying. But job opportunities are plenty in the foreign countries. Aspiring students can attend recruitment drives which are being conducted in other colleges. The college gives permission to attend those recruitment drives.
Infrastructure: Amal Jyothi College of Engineering has got a good infrastructure and other facilities. We have got good qualified faculty members and apt labs for each and every branch enabling everyone to learn well. Finest classrooms and a good library with a number of books are also available. This college is good in sports too, especially basketball and badminton. A special coach is there for basketball. and we have got free Wi-Fi throughout the campus in which students can log in using their ID.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified and enriched with the knowledge to teach the students very well. Each and every faculty member is helpful regarding studies or projects or other extracurricular activities. In a class, a maximum of 60 students is there. Every year, industrial visiting opportunities are provided by the college.
Other: It is a private self-financing college under the Diocese of Kanjirappally. Courses are offered in mechanical, civil, computer science, EC, EEE, metallurgy, chemical, IT, automobile, etc. Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. As the college is managed by Catholic priests, it is strict in nature.

It depends upon college in which you are applying. Most of the colleges take entrance exam for lateral entry in second semester ( first year ) or in second year.
