Amar singh college's honest review.

Placements: The college is not known for its placements. I haven't come across any student who studied at this college and got a placement. Small companies do come looking for interns paying you a few thousand per month. Simply put, you shouldn't get your hope up of finding a job here.

Infrastructure: The main building of the college was once a palace of Hari Singh; that's why it's called the heritage building. Even with this status, the building hasn't been looked after. The classrooms are old-fashioned; only two classrooms have smart boards, no air conditioning, and are darkly lit. Hostel rooms are in awful conditions with no working fans. Bathrooms are smelly and gross. Mess food isn't good either; Dal tastes like you are eating at a stand. College has a big playground, which is a plus point. Intercollege and interdistrict matches are held regularly.

Faculty: The teachers do their job very well. They are well qualified with modest behavior, possessing a great deal of knowledge. If we are talking about relevancy between different subjects in the course, then yes, it is quite relevant. But it doesn't prepare you for life, as most of the curriculum is bookish in nature. Semester exams are not so difficult if you study well. About 70% of the students pass their graduation.

Amar Singh College is an excellent college.

Placements: Around 60-65 percent of students were placed. The package is around 25,000-50,000 but there aren't many companies looking for placements at the college. There are small companies that are looking for interns, but not so much. Around 25% of students got internships in small companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in the college is very good. The staff is very helpful and caring. Classrooms are nice, and there is a park. The hostel facility is nice and affordable. The library is excellent, and the sports grounds are good. Overall, the infrastructure is very excellent.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, caring, and knowledgeable. The courses provided are good, but there are some temporary academic staff arrangements. The curriculum in the college is good, and the courses are built on a modern level. The exams are neither tough nor easy. Overall, the facilities are very good.

Other: The campus is very good, and you will love it.
