Dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: As I was from the biotechnology engineering, no core biotech company has visited the college to offer placements. The one that had come provided jobs in sales profile. Only a few renowned companies recruited the students from our college, that too by pool campus placement drives. To my knowledge, the highest package offered to our batch was 4 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in the college were moderate. Wi-Fi facility was available in the labs. The library was good. Games and sports facilities were available. Food in the canteen was not that good. Hostel rooms were great undoubtedly. Security for students was up to the mark. Mess food needs to be reviewed. A lot of improvement is required to be done in the college.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, supportive, and well qualified. The focus was both on academics as well as practical training. A bit more industrial visits and practical training are required. Though during the last few years, the campus crowd was constantly decreasing. Quality of education has also decreased. Much more improvement is required to be done. Many qualified faculty members left the college as the strength of the students is less.
Other: Few events were conducted in the college.

Reality of Ambala college of engineering and applied research.
Placements: On campus placement. Most of my seniors are placed well. Companies like Dr. Ready, IDS Pvt Ltd, MDI Pvt Ltd etc. Recruiting for job. Yes we have training and placement cell also. Average package like 3lakh per annum. Maximum like 5_6 Lacs per annum. Mainly 90-95 % of students placed or got internship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. College not give importance on infrastructure. Labs and library are good. Class room is average no smart classrooms available. Hostel rooms are quite good and cheap also. Quality of food in canteen is average. Free Wi-Fi also available but speed is too low. Play ground and gym also available with hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. Teachers are helpful and enjoying teaching. Students vs teachers ratio is very good also. And the course curriculum provided is very useful. We expose to industries and updated to current industrial need.
Other: Extracurricular activities like cultural fest, technical fest, Science fair and Atheletic meet, etc. Organized every year.

100% satisfying college for biotech students in Haryana. Top 2nd college in Haryana, 9th in India.
Placements: The placements in biotechnology are 100%, in CSE are 80%, in ME are 77%, and in ECE are 89%. This data is of the year 2017, so you can imagine that how good the college is for a must job required person. The main thing is that, here, education is not a business, but education is a passion. The college superiors (owners) give a student full freedom to exist their abilities and skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There is Wi-Fi facility in the whole campus. There are good sports facility, an animal house for biotech students, hostel facility for both girls and boys with 100% security, separate mess, and a separate playing area. The good thing is that teachers are also living with girls in the hostel for security purpose. There is an emergency van for emergency time. This is the 2nd best biotechnology college of Haryana, you feel this when you come here. It is totally pollution free natural area, 3 km away from the city. The college surroundings have the farming area, I think a biotech student must want this type of area for their work. The college has a well established and updated library.
Faculty: All the teachers are mainly engineers, so they know very well how a student can increase their skills according to the modern day requirement. All the teachers are well-qualified, more helpful, mainly I am from biotech, so all the teachers here are extraordinary. Some of the Maths teachers have 41 years of experience. I have no suitable words to explain their ability. The teachers give required notes and study material from time to time as required.
Other: From time to time, many events take place like other colleges, like ACE Aayaam, Athlete's Meet, Nukkar Natak, and blood donation camp.

Other: College life was good but I expected much better. For placements very few companies visit and sometimes not even a single one for the students. For placements a student should be aware about joint campus placements in other colleges. I was not happy with the placements. Still struggling for the better job.

Other: The ACE College is good but not as good as other colleges to be. There is no encouragement for curricular activities and no moralisation for students regarding studies. It seems like we are studying in a Government School. There is not a good canteen for students. No student dare to argue in front of any faculty member regarding the student rights. The girl’s hostel of this college is below average.
