The documents that need to be carried by a candidate on the counselling day are as follows:

• Counselling call letter.
• Entrance Examination – Hall Ticket.
• 12th standard or equivalent mark sheet and pass certificate.
• 10th standard mark sheet and pass certificate.
• Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended.
• Transfer Certificate from the institution last attended.
• Medical or Physical Fitness Certificate from the officer not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon or a Clinical Associate Professor of a Medical College.
• Caste Certificates of SC/ ST category students.
• Demand draft for the amount mentioned in the website/counselling call letter.

Note: The admissions are subject to verification of the original certificates and documents produced by the candidates. In order to secure a seat, candidates need to pay the tuition and other fees at the time of admission by way of Demand Draft.

Usually, candidates who score equal to or more than the prescribed CAP Test cut off marks are shortlisted for the next year. • Candidates who have completed their 4 years B.A. (Hons) in any stream with minimum 50% marks, must have one year PG Diploma.
• Candidates who have completed their 3 years B.A. (Hons) in any stream with minimum 50% marks, must have two years PG Diploma.

CAP Test 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D. in Mass Communication

• Candidates must have a Masters in Mass Communication/ Communication/ Visual Communication/ Journalism, or any other relevant field.
• Candidates have to show evidence of their strong academic record. These can include test scores in standardized graduate aptitude tests such as GATE, GRE, etc., or any publication of their work in recognized journals or conferences.
