It is an excellent place for MBBS students.
Placements: As a house surgeon from my batch, most students from the MBBS course are successfully placed into compulsory rotation. The stipend offered is usually for CRRI postings in clinical departments. Internships are offered within the college hospital itself. More than 95 percent of students get internship placements, as it is part of the curriculum. Major recruiting hospitals for further placements or PG preparation support include reputed private hospitals and government medical facilities. Top roles offered during internship include junior intern, clinical assistant, and duty medical officer.
Infrastructure: Our medical college provides well-equipped laboratory services, labs, digital classrooms, a central library, and 24x7 Wi-Fi access in academic blocks. The hospital attached to the college has good clinical exposure with multiple departments and adequate patient flow. Hostel facilities are decent with proper rooms, regular cleaning, and basic amenities. The mess food quality is average, but hygienic. The canteen offers additional options. There are also sports areas and reading rooms.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are knowledgeable and supportive, especially in major clinical subjects. Their teaching methods, besides clinics and seminars, make understanding easy. The MBBS course curriculum follows NMC guidelines, making it highly recommended and industry-ready. Exams are moderately difficult but manageable with consistent study. The pass percentage is good, as the college provides internal assessment and practical exposure throughout the year.
Other: I chose the MBBS course and this college because of its strong clinical exposure, experienced faculty members, and structured learning environment. The best part of the course is the continuous hands-on training and the availability of all departments under one roof. I hope the college improves hostel maintenance and increases extracurricular activities in the future.

AMC: A prestigious college
Placements: Almost everyone gets placed after completing their MBBS in our college because it's the only 100-year-old college in the entire state of Andhra Pradesh. The minimum pay would be around 30-40 thousand rupees per month. You can get a job in top hospitals like Apollo, Medicover, etc. This course provides you with an internship for one year, with a 25,000 rupees salary per month.
Infrastructure: Hostel beds are limited and congested. Preference for giving hostel rooms is based on the distance of your hometown from the college. The classrooms are digital, and the library is very big, where you can get all the medical books. The labs are also remodelled. Although the food is a little disappointing, all other services are good, as we have washing machines, dhobis, a shuttle ground, a yoga room, a gym, and a reading room inside the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified doctors who are very helpful and knowledgeable. Our college follows all the guidelines set by the NMC (National Medical Council) and NTRUHS. Our exams are conducted by NTRUHS in a very strict manner. The exams are medium in difficulty, but passing them was never a problem.
Other: I chose this course because it's my passion to save lives and treat ailments. The best thing about this course is that you can bring smiles in the darkest phases of life. We have many events happening in our college, for example, we have annual academic weeks, cultural weeks, hostel weeks, sports weeks, intermedics, and many more. The campus is so relaxing, and all the classrooms are air-conditioned.

It has bad infrastructure, but it still provides a fabulous teaching and college experience.
Placements: The college is more than good. More than 70 percent of students get placed. Our students get selected to AIIMS. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. The highest salary offered is 1 lakh per month. Courses offered here are cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, gynaecology, ophthalmology, paediatrics, and surgery.
Infrastructure: Some rooms have very bad infrastructure and facilities. Some don't even have good washrooms. We need to run to other buildings to go to washrooms. Some building, like the centenary alumni building, has high-class infrastructure. It also provides full Wi-Fi, spacious labs, big classrooms, and an extraordinary library.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. We need to make good use of them, which is itself the hardest part. The MBBS course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is more than 50 percent. It is actually difficult to pass exams, but some barely pass.
Other: My mother's dream is to make me join this course, so I chose this course. I wish this course were better if there were less stress. It has less syllabus, more time, more worth, and more respect.

It is an excellent college that provides a good campus life.
Placements: About 250 members join this course every year. Salary packages depend on the department we choose. As we are medical students, we do PG after UG and take duty in the respective department at this hospital. Almost 95% of our students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. As it is an old college, the rooms are not better. Labs are well-equipped. The hostel is too old, and the rooms are a little bad. We can be adjusted. The food is good. A canteen is available. We play many sports at our college, and all courts are well equipped.
Faculty: We have well-trained faculty members. They are good with students. The quality of teaching is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students great. Semester exams are well planned. The difficulty level depends on our preparation. Top courses are neurology and cardiology.
Other: I chose this course because I've been interested in it since childhood.

Yes, certainly. But your hometown should not be Visakhapatnam.

If you are outside of Visakhapatnam, you will definitely get to stay in the hostel until your final mbbs
