A student’s perspective with all honesty.
Placements: Above 80 percent of the students got placements. Remaining students are not interested to join the on-campus placements drive. The highest package offered is 3.5 LPA, the lowest package is 2.2 LPA and the average package offered is 2.4 LPA. Laurus is the top recruiting company of our campus. 50 percent students got internships at steel plant of Visakhapatnam and some people got in Pfizer. QA and QC are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The atmosphere in the campus is too good. The classrooms are very comfortable with good ventilation. The central Library in our campus has all types of books available. Our campus has Wi-Fi facilities and good equipments. We have good quality food available in the hostels.
Faculty: The teaching quality is absolutely perfect and all the professors are highly qualified having good teaching skills. It has Chemistry relevant jobs and laboratory jobs in pharmaceuticals. The exams conducted are of moderate level and I got 7.86 GPA.
Other: I had a great opportunity to pursue my career in the Chemistry stream as it has wide opportunities in the future in different sectors. The syllabus of the exams must improve. Our campus conducts a grand festival every year and events like Aurora, department days and flash mobs dance events as well. .

Course is not helpful, teachers do not support, and the facilities are bad.
Placements: I was in the M.Sc. batch. Nearly 60% of students got placed. The highest package was around 7 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average was 3.5 LPA. Some companies like TCS and Wipro came for recruitment. Internships were available to a few only, in local labs or IT. Mostly job roles like lab assistant, data entry, or junior analyst were offered.
Infrastructure: Labs were not so good, many things were broken. Wi-Fi worked slowly, and sometimes did not work. Classrooms were old, and fans made noise. The library was big, but the books were very old. The hostel was not clean, the toilets were bad. The mess food was oily and cold. Canteen was little costly. No good medical facilities. Sports ground was not cared for.
Faculty: Teachers had a degree but were not good teachers. They just came, spoke, and went. They were not very helpful to the students. Course did not match the industry needs. No real skill taught. Exams were sometimes hard, and many students failed. Pass percentage was around 60%. Study on your own only if you want to pass.
Other: I chose M.Sc. because I like Science subjects. Some topics were good, but no deep teaching. The teacher did not clear the doubt. No fest, campus mostly silent. The crowd was boring, and no extra activity was conducted. There was no good bus or train nearby. Scholarship system was confused. Need more student support.

Satisfied with everything, good placements in 2025, good environment.
Placements: Around 60% of students have been placed in entry level or Associate Trainer roles in various companies. Some of the top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SRF, Pidilite Industries, Tata Chemicals, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Dr. Reddy's, Cipla, and Reliance Industries. Other companies like BASF India, Asian Paints, and Jubilant Biosys also hired students. The salary package offered ranges from 3 to 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college offers a good environment with quality food and well maintained rooms. An AU hospital is available 24/7. Students are provided with opportunities to participate in national and international level sports. A Playground is always available. Sports things are available, and gymnasium is available. Volleyball and football grounds are also available in college.
Faculty: We can easily get a good score when we prepare well. Easy to get good marks, and the faculty guides well in career. Faculty follow the schedule properly. Complete portion in time. Good faculty, provides notes, material, and the library is also available in college. Provides labs also.
Other: There are so many fests and cultural activities in the college. Au hub is also there. Self development organisation is also available in NSS and NCC, and also there in the AU.
