Review of Andhra University College of Engineering (my opinion).
Placements: We keep hearing about placements in this college that there are very few opportunities for students here. Placement percentage is too low. Seniors always suggest studying and learning skills on our own and applying for jobs wherever there is an opportunity.
Infrastructure: Apart from the new classroom complex and the department building. I like the algorithm block a lot. It has digital classrooms instead of normal ones. I like the infrastructure here. The network is very fast here. There is a good signal. The library is a good place to study. As I am a day scholar, I won't know anything about hostels here.
Faculty: Coming to studies, we get a lot of free time here in the form of self-study and library. Lecturers here are experienced and knowledgeable with decent teaching quality. This course curriculum is relevant. The exams here are at a decent level and not that hard.
Other: Coming to college life, it's above average. I chose this course because I love this field. I want to learn more and more. I wish they would suggest some skills which are needed these days to get preferred by companies. There are lots of events here. Everything is good.

College is very beautiful. Professors are very friendly and helpful in every situation.
Placements: Around 60-80 percent of students, depending on the year and market conditions, get placed. The highest package offered ranges from 10- 12 LPA, and the lowest package offered ranges from 2-3 LPA. The top roles offered are software engineering, graduate engineering trainee, embedded engineer, and IT services. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, DRDO, and some core companies hire students from the college. Around 40-50 percent of students get internships. Placements are good here.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure at Andhra University are quite good and support academic learning effectively. The campus includes well-equipped laboratories, smart classrooms, and a central library with a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources.
Faculty: Teachers at Andhra University are generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Many faculty members are PhD holders and degree-qualified. They guide students in academics as well as placements. The course curriculum is relevant.

Absolutely satisfied because of the facilities.
Placements: When it comes to placements in my department, 80% of students got placed. 12 LPA was the highest, 4 LPA was the lowest, and 6 LPA was the average package offered in my course. This year, the top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, and Accenture. In the current passing year, there is nobody who got an internship from college upto information we have till now. The top roles offered are as a developer.
Infrastructure: There are fewer facilities in our hostel when compared to others. The hostels here were built a long time ago. In hostels, we don't have any study rooms or Wi-Fi connections. When it comes to the department, we have a library with a sufficient amount of books, and we have open Wi-Fi access to everyone in my core, and we have good features like technical labs with a sufficient number of desktops. The food available here is of good quality, and they never disappoint in it. We have 24/7 medical service near hostels, and they will provide both indoor and outdoor kits for sports.
Faculty: I don't say every teacher here is useful, but a few teachers are very useful and helpful for us. They are qualified with a doctorate, and their teaching quality is awesome. The course is absolutely curriculum-relevant, and it makes students ready to survive in the industry. We are having a medium range of difficulty in exams. In our course, we see 90% of pass percentage.
Other: We need improvement in the college labs and technical aspects of our college. Events and fests will happen once a year, and the crowd here is very interactive.

Dissatisfied with everything from 2022 to 2026.
Placements: 10 percent of students in our course got placed. The highest package is 11 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies currently are Infosys, Tcs, Cognizant, and Capgemini. As of now, 5 percent of students from our course have gotten internships in start-ups. Top roles offered are analyst programmer, software engineer, and special programmer-L1.
Infrastructure: We don't have a Wi-Fi connection. Our labs are equipped with less relevant infrastructure, a shortage of classrooms for final year students, and a smaller number of books in the library. I'm a day scholar, so I know less about the hostels. I've heard that the food in the mess is not good enough for eating. We have a small canteen with limited good food and unlimited junk food. We do have games and sports, but only during the college annual fests.
Faculty: The curriculum is a bit too old and is not aligned with what is actually happening now in 2026. Few teachers taught us the subject really well. Teachers need to be upgraded with the updated courses and there should be updated courses in our present curriculum. Present courses do not make the students industry-ready. As we all know, semesters are not too difficult and not too easy as well. The pass percentage is 90 percent in our course.
Other: Ours is the 2022-2026 B.Tech CSE batch.

An absolute campus life and a wonderful experience.
Placements: It's good for the batches of mechanical and chemical but for CSE, I can say the ratio of placements is very low. Accompanied by TCS, Cognizant, Deloitte, Accenture, FactSet, and Infosys visit our campus. The rest are edtech companies, although MNCs visited very little and got recruited.
Infrastructure: Our university is 100 years old, it's the best in infrastructure, and it's old. The hostel facilities are not that top-notch. We have NCC and NSS on our campus. The canteens are good and are everywhere. The roads are wide, the buildings are tall, and the classrooms are huge.
Faculty: The teachers are Ph. D.-level qualified and teaching is good, but the scoring and examination are on a next level. It's not that easy to score a good grade in a university, the question papers are way different, and the evaluation is tough. The questions are out of the box.

All about Andhra University.
Placements: Around 80 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest package is 8 LPA, and the average package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Moschip, TCS, and Infosys. Top roles offered are electric analyst, IOT, embedded systems, and physical design.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good in our department, we have a library common to all departments. Labs have the good equipment, classroom are average. Hostels, as they are government hostels, the food is not good, but the washrooms have been renovated recently. The garden area is more.
Faculty: Faculty are good, but we have to study on our own because it is engineering. As per the course curriculum, it is more backward compared to other colleges. Semester exams are difficult, we have to prepare hard. Questions will be hard, and corrections cannot be predicted.
Other: We can have a chance for government and central jobs. I wish internship opportunities and placement offers were improved. Events and fests are thoroughly conducted.
