To be eligible for BSc course admission, aspirants must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam. The Certificate shall be issued by a recognised board (CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE/IB or state board). In addition at time of form filling or admission student must have signed copy of mark sheet and pass Certificate of Class 12. Students appearing for class 12 final exams are also eligible to apply. 

AAFT is a private academy; however, it is approved by the UGC. The academy also has multiple associations with international universities such as New York University, USA, Oxford Business College, United Kingdom and Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. Established in 1990, the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT), is a Media and Communication academy located in Delhi/ NCR. It is located in Film City Noida and is known for offering various undergraduate, postgraduate, Diploma and short-term courses in the fields of Cinema, Mass Communication, Animation, Fashion and Photography.

The fees at AAFT included one-time tuition and Hostel fees. However as of now one-time fee is not present. The fee varies according to programme and specialisation chosen by students. AAFT Noida conducts on campus placements. As of now, the 2025 placement stats have been released. The highest salary offered to the students was INR 16 LPA. The overall average salary was between INR 3.60 LPA and INR 4 LPA. More than 2,000 companies participated in the drive and placed 1,175 students in new age job roles. The placement rate recorded in 2025 was 93%.

AAFT normally commences the new batch of undergraduate classes every year in July.
