B.A.	Candidates who has passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination is eligible to apply provided he/she has also passed in English having full marks not being less than 100. No candidate shall be allowed for admission after a lapse of more than 3 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination or discontinuation of recognized regular Course of Study after passing the previous qualifying examination. For the purpose of determining eligibility for admission to the Honours Course, aggregate marks shall be calculated by adding the marks in top-four subjects in order of marks secured by a candidate. However, marks in compulsory Environmental Education /Studies shall not be taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks. Candidate must have aggregate 50% However, Candidates belonging to the SC/ ST or OBC Community must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate.

It is a good college for pursuing BBA.

Placements: Students get opportunities to participate in various workshops which helps to build knowledgeable. At the end of the course, many companies visit the campus on specified dates for campus interviews. Students of all the departments get an opportunity to participate and also get a chance to secure a good job by going through the interview and selection process.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very good for BBA students. We were provided separate classes with facilities like air-conditioners and digital classrooms. There is also a separate library for students, and it has a huge collection of books. Students get ample opportunities to participate in games.

Faculty: In our college, teachers were highly qualified and very helpful. The way of teaching was also very good, and they follow the curriculum, which makes every student industry-ready. The course was well-structured that while you pursue higher studies, then you can have basic-knowledge in every subject, especially for MBA students.

Other: I am a commerce student, and I always dreamed of pursuing management studies, so I have chosen BBA to enhance and enrich my skills and knowledge in this field. While pursuing it from this college, it helped me to build a good network which later helped me a lot. Our campus has a huge crowd, and many events used to take place where you get a chance to participate.

I am not satisfied with college.

Placements: I would suggest others not to take admission in any college under the University of Calcutta. The college does not provide placements, placement cell, companies visits, industrial training, and there is also no support for internships. The college is for just for a name, and nothing is interesting. You will not get any job, and I am not happy with this college.

Infrastructure: In the BBA department, classrooms are air-conditioned, and no other facilities have given by the college to students. College is all about politics. If you are a politician, then you will get a concession, and you will get benefited as teachers will help them.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are not bad, but they are not talking about extra care for students.

Other: Regular events are conducted n our college so that you can enjoy.

Review of our college and course. The faculty was good but dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: None of the students from our batch got placed. We didn't get any placements because there was no placement drive arranged for us. Top recruiters included Reliance, Bata, Coco-Cola from our previous batch. Almost everyone from our batch got internships and in good companies like Tata Nexa, Nestle, Bata.

Infrastructure: There's Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and library. All of the necessary facilities are available for our course. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is good. There are medical facilities available which are okay and the sports and games related activities take place often.

Faculty: The teachers were pretty good. Most of them were helpful, Qualified and knowledgeable as well. The course curriculum was relevant which obviously made it easier for us. The disintegration of the syllabus by the faculty and teachers made it a lot more helpful for us.

Everything is good with Asutosh College, but don't expect any good campus placement.

Placements: There is not really any separate cell for placements in this college. If you try hard, you can get into somewhat good companies, but I would advise you to try outside of college for placements. It's really not worth it to try for college placement, every government will have the same problem.

Infrastructure: I don't know about the hostel because I don't live in one, but I heard from some of my friends that it's not really that bad. The canteen is located on the top floor, so you have to break some sweat to reach there, but to be honest, it's really spacious, a bit dirty, and the food is really good and cheap.

Faculty: Semester exams are hard as Asutosh is affiliated with CU, and you don't want to underestimate CU. I don't know about other faculty, but the teachers of the BBA faculty work really hard and make you understand no matter how hard it is, so if you want to pursue BBA, your first choice should be Asutosh. The pass percentage is usually around 40 percent of the full marks, although it can change based on the subject.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: In our college, there are no placements but many industries come here to give you a training session regarding your course which will help you to get a perfect job after graduation. The main roles offered are HR and digital marketing which are given by the college for pursuing.

Infrastructure: In our college, the classrooms are good as it has a projector for digital classrooms. The sitting benches are nice and rooms are installed with air-conditioners. The library is fine where you can get your course book without purchasing it in the market. Hostels are nice and the food quality is also good.

Faculty: In our college, the teachers are very helpful and they give their best from their side to help you whenever you need them. The course is relevant and makes students industry-ready to face the corporate world. So the semester exams are hard but if you take all the notes that are provided, you can easily pass.

Asutosh college is a great college and it is according to your dream in school days.

Placements: Placements will be given by the college after completion of 3rd year. You will get placements in companies like reliance trends, met company, etc. Basic salary will be given aprox. 15000 and maximum will be according to your work. Many students got placements in different companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of asutosh college is excellent. AC classrooms, lifts, Wi-Fi zoned. Indoor games room, canteen, labs, Library and computer rooms. It is highly maintained and clean. All the facilities were given. Hostel facilities were also provided.

Faculty: Faculty members were excellent. They are highly educated and trained. The will teach you according to the prospects and cu curriculum. They will teach you for your betterment of your future and teaches like a management course. You don't have to go for tuition after studying in college.

Other: Many events are done in asutosh college. Freshers of every department will be done. Uddan is the name of the asutosh college fest.
